One month-Vincent's POV

It's been a month since Jennie and I got married and today was our one month anniversary and every one at home was very excited to even organise a party.

''As i got down i could feel that all eyes were on me but it's understandable since i am the mafia king and there media and most of there mafia mens were here."

''Mr Vincent Sir we heard that your haven't shown your wife to anyone because she is ugly and young is that true ."

I couldn't help but clench my jaws because they were insulting my wife and also my taste as I was about to speak i was interrupted by a sweet calm voice.

''How do you guys know that i am ugly when you haven't seen me ?."

Everyone turned around and looked up there stairs .I couldn't believe what i was seeing I knew that my wife is beautiful but today she was mesmerizing .

She was wearing a black cocktail dress that hugged her curves matching it with black sparkling high heels along with a necklace that had both our initials and she also had a little bit touch of natural makeup,her hair was in a high bun and she left some of her hair down.

''I couldn't wait any longer I went to her and pulled her by her waist everyone needed to know that she was mine and mine alone."

''Greetings to everyone firstly i would love to say thank you for coming and this is my beautiful wife Jennie Vincent Dakota the one and only Mrs Dakota."

''Mmm!Mr Dakota your wife is really beautiful she is definitely are keeper ," one of the journalist said and I couldn't help but smile "

Everything was going perfectly and i was following Jennie around like a bodyguard because i could feel that all the men's eyes in the room were on her .

''Vincent are you enjoying the party ,"Jennie asked .

''Yes my wife and did i tell you that you look exquisite today ."

''You don't look to bad yourself my dear husband."

As i was talking to Jennie my phone rang and i signalled to her that i was going upstairs because it was loud downstairs but the moment i walked inside i was knocked down out from behind.

Jennie's POV

As I was sitting down with Lisa and mother and father in law one of the maids came back inside screaming my name.

''Mrs Jennie ,Mrs Jennie i am very sorry but i have terrible news Mr Vincent is upstairs with another women in bed ."

And just like that everyone ran upstairs especially the media.

''Jennie please trust me Vincent would never do something like this,"my mom(mother in law )said .

''I know mom but we also know that this people won't believe us so let's go upstairs and don't worry i will handle this problem this is a promise made to a mother by her daughter."

As I got upstairs Vincent quickly came to me and held my hand in his .

''Jennie it's know what you think please trust me ,I didn't do anything."

''Vincent my dear did i say that i didn't trust you and why i you saying this to me you yourself must not forget that your wife is are law student so if we see evidence from one side there must be proof from another side."

''Mrs Jennie what do you mean do you mean to say that Mr Vincent must provide evidence to proof himself innocent ."

''Don't put words in my mouth you guys are too curious and you should know that curiousity kills are cat.Can everyone please go downstairs and i will be there in a minute and false news shouldn't be spread."

'Mrs Jennie you can't tell is what to do and what not to do you are not the boss of us."

''I am not telling you what to do and since it's you job you should also learn the truth from my husband right and let me make this clear nobody is allowed to go anywhere and especially you since you are known as my husband's so called ''mistress"."

Everyone went downstairs and know it was only family left.

''Jennie are you mad at me please let me explain i didn't do anything wrong,"Vincent said .

''Why do you have to explain when you haven't done anything and like i said i am a law student and i believe in providing proof."

''So do you mean to say that you want for me to provide proof to you in order for you to believe me Jennie so does that mean you don't trust me,"said Vincent

''Vincent that's enough can you please listen to her before you accuse her and she already believes in you or else she wouldn't here so come so let's go downstairs and handle the situation downstairs,"dad said."

Can you guys please give me and Vincent are minute alone please.

''Jennie do you really trust me?."

''Vincent whether or not i trust you will be proven downstairs now let's go downstairs.

''Jennie i don't know if you trust me or not but just know that i truly love."

''I know,"that's what she said before she left me alone in the room."

We have been together for one month and she hasn't even told me once that she loves me and i hope that this doesn't break us apart.
