Hospital visit

While on the way to the hospital Daniel stopped to get McDonald's. 

"So, you said you want two orders of the twenty-piece chicken nugget combo?" 

"Yes, Ma'am", Daniel calmly said to the lady.

"What would you like the drinks to be?"

"I'd like two large sweet teas", Daniel said. 

After glancing at me to see if that's what I wanted, he finally pulled off to the first window to pay for the food. Soon after that, we were finally eating our food headed to the doctor. When we got to the hospital, I rushed to finish the last little bit of chicken nuggets I had. As we got to the door I had to throw up. I swung the door wide open, but it was too late.

"Miss, Are you ok?", One of the nurses asked me.

"Ma'am, I've been throwing up all over the place I think I have a virus," Makaylah explained.

"Call me Mrs. Smith, she said as she called the janitor in to clean up my throw up. 

"I'm going to get you to a room so the doctor can visit you quickly", Ms. Smith said with a smile.

We settled down in the room for about a good five minutes or so. Then, the doctor came rolling in like she was our landlord expecting rent. 

Hi Mrs. Santoro, I'm Mrs. Whitaker. I've heard from a nurse that works alongside me that you've been throwing up all over the place. 

"Yes, I have"

"Have you had any stomach bloating or discharge?", asked Mr. Smith.

"Yes, Mrs. Smith"

"Wait here, I'll be right back", Mrs. Smith said. 

I was curious but very upset not knowing what was going to happen. I just held Daniel close to me. More than ten minutes later the doctor came back with a needle and an empty blood valve. 

"I'm going to take a blood test to see if you're pregnant"

"How does that work?"

"I'll be using the quantitative blood test which measures the amount of hCG in your blood. This takes up to two or three days to come back."

I agreed on taking the test even though it took so long for the results to come back.
