A Lesson Well Learnt
Nick had completely washed his hands off anything that had to do with his sister's mental disease because he was at the point where he thought she needed a mental health check-up.
She was way too out of character for her actions to be taken as a joke.
Celine cast her glance at Robert. "What's your take on this? Are we signing this agreement or am I going to the media?"
Robert was silent for a moment before meeting her gaze. Within a few minutes, he looked twice older. More than the resentment he had against his daughter, he was mad at Celine for her brazen threats against his reputation and business.
He felt she went too far just to get whatever she wanted.
"Does your Dr. Brown know you are here?" He asked calmly.
Celine slammed the ball-point pen in her hand on top of the agreement and adjusted her jacket, looking pissed at that question, like she didn't have any right to take decisions that would favour her family.
