CH148. Announce your engagement to Han Chan today then

He knows that Lu Min Chen values the orphanage most. He will do anything to make sure that the orphanage is okay.

"Grandpa, don't dare touch it!" Lu Min Chen says angrily. Why does he have to bring up the orphanage?

He is the only one who knows why he started the orphanage. It means a lot to him.

"Announce your engagement to Han Chan today then," Lu Chong Mu says and looks at him. "And you have to bring that girl with you. Tell her that you are engaged!"

Lu Min Chen remains quiet, but his face is as dark as the bottom of a cooking pot.

"Don't force me to do some things that will hurt you Min Chen. You know me better," the old man stands up to leave. "You must have heard me!"

Lu Min Chen clenches his fists in anger. What is wrong with this man?

He loves Ye Xiao Xiao. And he wants to marry her. Why does he want him to tell Ye Xiao that he is going to be engaged to someone else?

Just as he is still fuming, the door to his office is pushed open and a young man walks in.

Thinking that it is his grandfather again, Lu Min Chen wants to burst out. 

But he creases his brows when he sees the person that walks in. 

"Long time Mr President," the cheeky young man greets and proceeds to take a seat.

"When did you come back?" Lu Min Chen asks in shock.

"Just yesterday. I knew I would not be able to get the third young master Lu to come pick me up," he says with a pout. "I really regret having a friend like you."

"I was busy anyway. I wouldn't have come even if you had asked me to," Lu Min Chen says.

"I knew!" Yu Luoshan says and wipes away his invisible tears. "I am really wronged! Friends should not treat each other like this. I was not even able to reach you when I was away."

"You can leave once you are done crying," Lu Min Chen says and how's back to work.

Yu Luoshan looks at him in stupor. "You have not yet changed? What did that old man feed you when you were young?"

For as much as he can remember, this Lu Min Chen has always been this cold to everyone. 

No matter how funny something is,he would still treat it as if it is annoying thing.

Sigh! He has to help this friend of his.

He walks forward and closes his laptop. "Let us chat. We have not seen each other for long."

Lu Min Chen does not persist on working. He and Luoshan have been friends since their high school.

And now that he is just back in the country, they have to catch up.

"What do you want us to chat about? Which girl is your family forcing on you this time?" Lu Min Chen asks with a smile.
