Luna isn't just a simple girl. Others might perceive her as such but this book smart person is hiding something deep in her mind. She promised to hide it forever and lived as a normal person would but some force didn't want to waste such talent. One unlucky day, she found herself in a mysterious place untouched by the modern stuff she's familiar with. The people wear weird clothes, the houses looked old-style, and everything is so simple. It might look simple on the surface but that world had always been full of mysteries hidden deep within and waiting to be found. The place is just like her. She did her best to keep her secrets but the longer she lived there, the harder it is to hide her secrets in the dark. "There's no helping it, let's just embrace the truth," she uttered. "Keep it easy, young lady," a man in his deep, cold voice appeared behind. "Alright" "B-but get away from me" ------ Daily updates
Luna turned towards Blair as soon as Advanced Mage Quinn told them to go home already. It was still early in the afternoon and she wouldn't want to waste that extra time for practice. She wasn't even a senior but her time was already tight.
'I hope that Elenor had found a way to increase the number of spirits he can summon,' Luna uttered.
Despite being her seniors, Luna was on par or even better than them when it came to knowledge. It was because she had access to Akiro's library before she came here aside from the Earth's Infos etched from her mind. The only thing she needed to do was to connect it all. With her excellent memory, she didn't need to skim all the books she previously read thus making her research progress much faster, clearer, and efficient than her seniors.
"Let's go, Blair," she said.
He nodded though someone stopped them from leaving the training ground. They were the couple earlier who didn't mind wasting all their time in childish fights.
This time Luna couldn't just pretend that nothing happened. She was busy. This was not the time to play around.
"Move," she uttered.
Her deep dark eyes stared at them in all seriousness though they didn't seem to feel that she was dead serious. The woman named Mane raised her eyebrow with a smirk.
"You sure are arrogant, I heard you're not in the Sapphire Section's team anymore. I can see that they finally see that you're just nothing in the--" she said.
She was interrupted.
Luna summoned her white flames beneath their feet and as if it wasn't enough, she followed it by firing small white flames on their stomachs. They had been blown away by the impact but their bodies stopped at midair. It was because she quickly stopped the time with her small golden pocket watch before they fell to the ground.
Then she walked slowly at their backs after taking out two swords from the weapon's racks on the side of the training ground.
With her blank stares and tightened heart, she pierced the weapons towards their stomachs. She purposely avoided their hearts.
'This should be enough. The likes of you aren't enough to dirty my hands,' Luna thought.
Despite that, her eyes squinted, and her thin lips grinned together with a hint of malice.
"But I don't mind crushing every single confidence you have. Despair dears, I can't wait to see another person looking at me with their lifeless gaze. I don't like people reminding me of those persons I loathed," Luna said.
Their clothes were already tainted with red when time started moving. To all the other students' eyes, Luna moved in their direction without them noticing and wondered when was she able to get the swords she pierced towards the couple.
They were sure that those weapons were on the rack. No one dared to move at their places fearing that they would be next. The same people that supported the couple just earlier had only looked at them like nothing.
Meanwhile, Blair followed Luna who didn't look back after attacking the rude students earlier. He was silent but he secretly admired her quick movements and became suspicious of it at the same time.
'She can only use it not more than three times,' Blair thought.
When they reached their fleeting team's training ground, Blair looked at Luna who was smiling widely as if nothing had happened earlier.
Seeing this, his heartbeat fastened like a prey being watched at by a wolf in sheep's clothing yet slightly different. They and he weren't the prey. As long as they did not break her trust, she would be a blessing that would bring them to the top.
Elle and Elenor looked towards Blair who looked serious in his straight face and stares that seemed to pass through them like an invisible being. They knew he wasn't the type to be seriously thinking.
'Something happened,' Elle thought.
As someone in a support class for years inside the Magic Academy, Elle was used to observing people that it became her habit. Luna acted the usual but it what was scared her. She couldn't read her actions today.
'Or I did not really know her thoughts from the start?' Elle said.
Ashley's hidden personality didn't escape her eyes which Luna failed to notice but how come she couldn't read Luna's thoughts at all? Everything got messy inside her mind like tangled strings.
"Elle?" Luna uttered.
She went stunned and asked, "What is it?"
"Did you already understand the ideas for modifying support spells I gave you?" she asked.
Hearing that, her head looked in the other direction and laughed awkwardly. "Hehehe, only half of it," Elle asked.
Although Luna didn't seem to be angry. She even heaved a sigh of relief like she was glad for her progress.
"You're doing great as expected of a senior. I'm really not serious last week about you understanding all of it but saying it like that made you believe in yourself right?" Luna said.
Elle nodded. She wasn't the type to read books all day. She thought that studying that whole thick book was already the minimum Luna expected her to do but it didn't seem to be the case. With a laugh, she started opening up the topic that had been bugging her mind. The mood was light and it seemed to be the perfect time to talk about it.
"Hey Luna," Elle whispered.
"What is it?" Luna asked.
"I'm curious about earlier. Don't lie, I can see that something happened earlier," she answered.
Despite her calm voice, she was trembling inside. The topic might cause Luna's mood to fall and Luna was the last person she wanted to be mad at after seeing the disastrous tornado she came up with.
After hearing that, Luna's brows furrowed while looking from afar.
"Two of our classmates keeps bothering us and I don't want to waste my time so I showed them how mad I can be from being late," she said.
"And my blood boiled from hearing those former teammates of mine from their mouths," she continued.
Elle looked at her nervously. "Hehe, I'm glad you did not lash out on me when I talked about them when we first met," she said.
"What are you talking about? Of course, you're different," Luna said.
Elle smiled and thought. 'What she hates is distrustful, two-faced persons. Noted.'
"I'll just talk to your brother about his spirits," Luna said.
"Okay."
