You Wan't To Welcome Her? Seriously!?

Chris chuckled as she watched her classmates.

"You seem to be in a pretty good mood." Chika said as she stared at Chris.

"That's because I have finally arrived at my beloved Japan." She said with a pure smile.

"My friends have told me so many wonderful things about this country." She continued like the full fledged weeaboo she is.

"I also watch many Japanese dramas." She said.

"Which ones?" Chika asked her.

"My favorites are 'The Yamato-maru Yume Nikki' and 'Demon Soldiers.'"

Pretty much everyone expected this answer. The two she mentioned were pretty popular here let alone overseas.

"I stopped at kyoto before coming here. I went to Kyoto's Movie Town and the set pieces are amazing and well crafted." She said with a smile.

"What about Japan do you like the most?" Chika asked her.

Chris sneaked a peek at Yamato, and with a red face she manage to stamemr a few words out.

"Th-The Bushido Spirit! My father taught me Chivalry, but... Japanese Bushido is sublimely beautiful in it's own right." She said with a nod.

Shouichi nodded his head at her words, "She must be pure of heart. I like her. You think she'll fit with us?" He turned to Yamato with a smile.

"You plan on inviting her?" Yamato raised his eyebrows at Shouichi. While the latter just nodded and returned his attention back to Chris.

Umeko then turned towards Frank, "Sir, it's about time that you..." She trailed off.

Frank noticing this nodded his head, "I understand. Take good care of my daughter, everyone." He said as he bowed out and left.

Or so they thought. Only for him to return just as quickly.

"Chris, if anything happens, I'll come flying back on a fighter jet." He said as he left.

"Woah! He might kill us if we make a move on her!" Yonpachi said as he wiped his non existent sweat.

While the guys grumbled, Wanko's eyes lit up. How ever it was a different kind this time. It was one filled with confidence.

Chris noticed this but decided to respect her descision.

"Hey, I have a question! Do you do any martial arts?" She said with a teasing grin.

Chris on the other hand nodded her head, "I have practiced fencing ever since I was little."

"Then! I have a proposal, Ms.Ume!" Kazuko said as she excitedly stared at their teacher.

She sprung at her feet.

"I want to give our transfer student a real welcome!"

Everyone was enlivened by her words. They knew exactly what she meant.

"Chris, the girl with the ponytail wants to see how strong you are." Umeko turned towards Chris.

Chris smiled, "I know sensei. I could feel her fighting spirit radiating my way. I got to say. I didn't expect it to be this sharp." She said as she stared at Kazuko straight in the eyes.

Everyone cheered as their excitement reached through the roof.

The two didn't need words. Kazuko threw her kawakami badge on the table. Chis mimicked her actions with a smile.

"Hold on. There will need to be a faculty meeting first. You need the entire staff's permission to hold a physicl duel." She said as she reeled the two's fighting spirit back.

However a figure appeared at the door. Kawakami Tesshin himself was observing the whole thing. He stared at Yamato and smiled in pride. Then at Miyako and nodded with appreciation. Then finally at Kazuko. He opened his eyes wide then beamed a wide smile.

"Hoho. Ms Kojima, I heard everything. it's fine I permit it. It's good to be young." Tesshin said as he walked away without leaving any window for opposition.

Umeko smiled at this, "You heard the Principal! You may go out in the field and fight to your hearts content."

"There are replica weapons in the room. Use them." She said as the class clamored.

What followed was an announcement of the duel.

On the field they stood apart.

Chris held a replica of a rapier.

Kazuko on the other hand was holding a replica spear, not a naginata defying the expectations of everyone watching.

Even Tesshin was caught unaware. He then cleared his throat.

"Now begins a traditional Kawakami Academy duel. Participants step forwards and name yourselves." He said as he raised his hand high up in the air.

"Kawakami Kazuko from Class 2-F." She said simply.

"Christiane Freidrich, and today have entered Class 2-F." She said in complete confidence.

"As the referee of this match, I approve of this duel. The match will continue until a winner is decided. However, if you attempt to strike outside of the match, I will step in. Understood?" He said in a single breath.

"We Understand!" The two said simultaneously.

"Stand tall and fight fair!"

"BEGIN!!!"

He brought his hands down.

Chris charged towards Kazuko, who lowered her stance as she held the spear with her two hands. Mimicking the staces of both Cú Chulainn and her master Scáthach.

With Yamato's boost in Kizuna Drive that is directly shared to those who he has a relation ship with. Her training has paid off to extreme degrees.

She's like the new pup of ulster.

Kazuko grinned as Chris stabbed towards her with multiple strikes.

She weaved and spun the spear blocking every single stike that came her way. Just as quickly she stabbed twice towards Chris. One was aimed at the heart which was parried off upwards.

The other one was aimed at her legs on which Chris used this chance to step back and avoid her strike. How ever Kazuko stabbed directly at the grounde and used the spear as a pole to propel herself forwards to kick Chris in the chest.

Even though Chris was surprised by this she blocked the kick with her arms as she was sent a few steps backwards.

What awaited everyone was stunned silence.

They expected Kazuko to lose, but she has shown great prowess that could rival or even surpass Chris.

Chris regained her bearings as she stared at Kazuko.

"You've gotten stronger." She said as she shook ehr hands to numb the pain.

Kazuko just smiled as she pulled out the spear from the ground.

She spun it around and raised the bottom part and lowered the spearhead, almost touching the ground.

She closed her eyes.

"I'm the Disciple of the Witch of Dun Scaith, and The Successor to the Hound of Ulster." She whispered under her breath.

She covered the replica spear and her legs with her ki. Her eyes slowly turned a darker shade of red as she sped up. She left only a trail of dust as she appeared on Chris's flank.

Chris opened her eyes wide as she tried to parry off her strikes. Kazuko attacked multiple times. Chris could feel her hands grow numb the longer she tried to prologn the stand still.

Chris could sense that this was Kazuko's final strike so she prepared for it. Kazuko thrusted straight at her. She immediately dodged on the side and prepared to counter. However contrary to eveyone's expectations. Kazuko swiftly turned her spear and curved its trajectory aimed directly at her chest.

Caught unaware, Chris was hit with Kazuko's final strike in the chest sending her tumbling backwards.

Everyone had their mouths opened with the skill Kazuko showed them. Teshhin was knocked out of his stupor when he saw Chris struggling to get up on her feet.

"That's the match!"

"Winner, Kawakami Kazuko!"

Tesshin announced to the stunned watchers. Not a single one was able to say anything.
