Prakriti's P.O.V,

The Maids escorted the caravan to the dining room after washing their hands and feet with the pure lotus water before drying them with soft cotton towels.

Inside the dining room, everyone sat on their pre-determined seats and waited for the food to

The Pandavas consisted of Arjun, Bheema and Yudhishthira while Nakul and Sahadeva rested on the lap of Devi Gandhari and Devi Radha.

Essentially, both of them are still infants. Yudhishthira (10 years old) being the eldest among the Pandavas whereas Bhima (6 years old) and Arjun (3 Years old) are still innocent kids.

[Addressing the doubt of Snehank: If you are confused about their ages, so I am. I did searched for a while and find their true age difference but... it was a little too big. It would destroy the plot I've in mind. Therefore, I had to tinker a little with their ages. Hope you will forgive me for this grave sin.

It was really a hard decision but... I had to. For the sake of the plot.]

[Note: Additionally, these lines weren't stolen from Hiruzen Sarutobi's dialogue. Believe me!]

"Maids, Serve the food."

Devi Gandhari ordered the maids to serve the food while she played with her little nephew.

The maids completely obliged her order and placed the delicacies before the three princes and the elders.

Gulp~

Seeing all the delicious sweets, vegetables, and chapatis, which were so different from the simple food the Pandavas usually had, Bhima couldn't help but feel hungry. He really wanted to eat those tasty treats.

Being a glutton as he is, Bhima pleaded to Devi Gandhari, "Tai-ji, can we start eating?"

"Putra, Please wait for a little while. Someone isn't present here yet." Devi Gandhari explained to Bhima while turning her head towards the entrance of the dining room.

"Ji (Yes), Tai-ji." Though a little upset by the delay, Bhima didn't question her decision.

However, The Empress's words did pique the interest of the elders inside the room who finally noticed an extra plate, placed beside Bhishma's seat.

It made them wonder about the individual who can be on the same status as that of Maharathi Bhishma.

Thankfully, they didn't have to wait for long unlike my pitiful children who had been bullied by this evil hearted author for so long...

Shine!

The Gates of the dining room opened, revealing a figure shrouded in an invisible radiance similar to the great Sun.

When that radiance finally subsided, it revealed a divine teenage boy escorted by Devi Sughada.

Gasps*x?

'Huh?'x2

As the figure of the teenage boy finally cleared, the whole room was filled with the gasping sounds. Be it the maids or soldiers, none of them could ignore the charm of the divine boy, completely shadowing the beauty of the Pandavas, who are hailed as Demi-gods.

After gazing at that mysterious boy's enticing figure, the beauty of everything else pales in comparison. The pitiful servants almost choked to death as they even forgot to breathe!

Even Maharishi Kripacharya and Bhishma felt a little mesmerized by Karna's charm. However unlike other mortals, they were observing the thick aura of good karma enveloping Karna.

And yet, the ones who were affected by his presence the most were Devi Radha and Shri Adiratha. How can they not be?

Their lovely son is standing in the presence of the great personalities like Maharathi Bhishma and Maharishi Kripacharya. If his presence offended even one of them, it would be disastrous for them!

Though, it was almost an impossibility after we consider their natures, but what can one say about Niyati. After all, She is infamous for doing the impossible. Isn't she?

Swish!

During the confusion of others, No one noticed Arjun who had unknowingly materialized a bow and arrow.

Arjun swiftly aimed his arrow towards Karna and fired it straight to the forehead of Karna!

Boom!

Thud!

"Argh!"

"No!"

Before anyone could react, Karna flew through the walls due the arrow which had pierced his forehead, successfully killing him!!!

That's how, the valiant warrior once again met his demise...
