Chapter 23: Feeding The Baby

"Pick" said, "how about we keep a baby?"

Both the "dragon and mermaids" were shocked, because of "Pick's statement".

"Kon" said, are you sure you want to keep "a demon"?

"Pick" said smilingly , not "a demon" but a "hybrid". If we train him properly from childhood, he might be a great help to us in the future.

"Kon" said, well it's not my problem! And he went back to his cave.

While mermaids behind the "Pick" were worried.

"Pick" also saw this.

"Pick" said let's go back to the clan, I will explain.

Everyone arrived at the area where the "mermaids live".

Mermaids live in a "bubble-like structured place". It stops both water and monsters from coming inside.

While mermaids live in water, they don't like to stay in the water all the time, But they can't go outside because of several "land species".

So they created "a huge bubble-like structure" to live in like land, they transform their "tails into legs" and live here.

When everyone arrived, "Pick" said take the baby to that area. It was an area where a cave is, but it was outside and far from the bubble.

Mermaid asked "why there?" to the clan head.

"Pick" said, the baby's cry might destroy our "protection bubble".

Mermaids understand, "Pick's" meaning and they took the baby into that "faraway cave".

"Sometimes later",

"Pick" was telling his people, about the baby, what will be "benefits", and what "people need to be aware of".

"After sometime",

Some mermaids came to "Pick" and told him about the food problem, as what to feed the baby. (This people are arranged by the "Pick" to take care of the baby)

"Pick" said, feed him meat, when I came here, I looked into his mouth and he have "very sharp teeth".

"Mermaids" went back to feed the baby, but when they tried to feed the baby a piece of meat, the baby was not "chewing" it.

"These mermaids" went back to "Pick'' and said, "Clan head" baby is not eating the meat.

"Pick", said tell me in details.

"Mermaids" said, as you told us, we fed him meat, but he was not chewing it.

"Pick" said tiredly, "are you an idiot or I am?" Since he can't chew, feed him in "liquid form". It's a baby you know, "how will he know" "how to chew?"

Oh! God "what stupid people I have!", said "Pick"

"Mermaids" went back; they converted that meat into "liquid form" and then fed it to the baby and the "baby" drank all that.

"Baby" didn't care about the taste, as he was still "the baby".

This is a "short chapter", I know, but I am not getting "good ideas" for a while. I think it's because I was I'll and my writing habits have become a mess.

or some game I am playing, but don't worry, "my regular life" is starting from today, so in some days, I hope, I might be able to write long chapters.
