Chapter 51: Studio
After an intimate shower and a much needed nap, we made our way to see Gia at her art studio in the industrial district. Yujin seemed to be in great spirits, but I was worried their sister might be upset with us for taking such permanent measures. Even if they weren’t great people, losing your father and brother in such a short time span would certainly be difficult for anyone.
When we knocked on the door, we could hear her call for us to let ourselves in. The studio was smaller than I was expecting and covered with paint splatter and dust. There were dozens of huge canvases lining the walls and sparse, but plush furniture. Natural light flooded in from a wall of windows, and I caught a glimpse of Gia in her natural element.
