After telling Yujin about the unread messages, they shot up and started leading me back toward the suite. “And you don’t know when he sent them or what he’s saying?” they asked. Even barefoot, their steps seemed heavy and determined.
I shook my head, watching the floor as we made our way down the hall. “I couldn’t look at them,” I muttered quietly. I felt them squeeze my hand as we walked.
“You don’t have to, I can take care of everything.” They led me into the suite and made a beeline for the phone. After I unlocked it for them, they took their time reading his messages. I watched a frown grow across their face before they finally spoke. “So basically he’s saying I edited the videos to incriminate him, and then a lot of sappy sh*t about running away with him and starting over.”
