"You... we're not even married! What are you talking about, having a child? I won't let my child be born out of wedlock!"
"Oh, so that's what matters to you?" Capone leaned back in his chair with a smug look on his face. "Marriage isn't a big deal. If you want, I can book a flight right now, and we can go to New York to register."
Sophia was so angry that she felt dizzy, not knowing how to respond. Marriage was just one requirement for having children, but it didn't mean they could just marry now, nor that marriage automatically led to having children right away.
"I don't want to!" she immediately rejected without thinking.
Capone narrowed his eyes. "Clarify, what do you mean? You don't want to have a child, or you don't want to marry me?"
