(Varay pov)

It's been two days since Madara's clone teleported me and my soldiers here and then disappeared. it took me some time to figured out where I was.

Maybur, a city that's also close to the ocean.

"The enemies will be coming with ships, so I'll be the one to make the first attack while they are still in water. This will help reduce their number" I said while looking at the three people in front of me.

Currently, We were inside a tent that serve as my office for the time being. The three people were from different races and I choose them to be captains of the three groups that I had created the past three days.

"But, we still don't know how many of them will show up, and what worse, we don't know their capabilities" Said the Dwarf woman.

"I understand what you mean, and that's why I said I will be making the first attack. Besides we have already finished setting up the traps at the coast, we'll know how strong they are once we fight them"

As the three people were about to add their thoughts on what I said, the tent was suddenly opened and a soldier walked in.

"They are here" Said the soldier.

Without wasting time, I flew out of the tent and heads towards the direction of the coast.

As the ocean come to view, I saw the ships…hundreds of them.

"They are moving fast" I said as I watched the ship making their way towards the coast.

It was time for the war that everyone was preparing for. I myself was full to prepare to die for the sake of my continent.

Taking out the communication artifact from my ring, I sent the voice message to the three captains of my group.

"Get in formation, I'll do my job here. Remember, we must not allow them to pass us, we must stop them or die trying"

Ending the message, I flew towards the shore and landed down.

Taking a deep breath as I prepare a powerful spell.

*exhale *

I clapped my hand together as ice started spreading at over the entire coast before a huge wall started building up.

The conjured ice wall grow taller until it reached its limit.

'the First phase of the plan is complete ' I thought to myself as I stood on top of the ice wall I just created.

The wall was 5 kilometers long and 15 meters tall. With this wall none of those ship will reach the shore.

"Time for the first attack" I said as I flew towards the incoming ships.

[Ice rain]

Hundreds of ice started forming around me as I got close to the enemies ships. Without any delay, I fired the ice Spears towards the ships

My ice Spears moved at the speed of sound. I watched as my Spears were about to destroy the ships

But, to my disappointment. The moment the ice Spears were about to touch the ships, they were stopped by a red barrier that became visible the moment my ice touched it.

"They are well prepar…!"

Before I could even finish my words, something shot out from one of the ship, I wasn't able to track it but, it heads straight to my ice wall and hit it.

The whole wall shuttered into pieces. Only to reveal the person who did that.

The figure had cropped ash black hair with heavy lids beneath his eyes and black horns above his ears. His tight-fitting black armor underneath a lavish purple cape made him looked like some sort of king.

In his right hand, he was holding a large great sword .

"It would be wise if you just surrender little girl"

Little girl??!

Looking at the man in front of me, his words didn't match his expression at all.

"I won't allow enemies to set foot in my continent" With that I conjured a long ice blade and swung it at him with everything I got.

"What a waste" The moment he said that, a cloud of black smoke exploded from his body and covering the entire coast with it.

The black fog made it harder for me to figured out where he went. With a wave of my hand, I formed an ice barrier around me while conjuring ice blades and fired them at every direction.

Little did I know that the enemy was just above me with his weapon raised.

With one swing of his blade, my ice was shattered to pieces .

As I was trying to fire my ice sword towards him, He instantly swung his sword again and smack me with it, sending me flying out of the black fog.

"Weak" his voice came from behind me and the next second I felt an immeasurable pain as my body hit the ground with enough force to create a small crater.

I vomited a mouthful of blood as I lifted myself out of the crater.

'Why? Why can't I react to his attack ' I blamed myself while trying to figured out where did he disappear to.

Suddenly, I felt a movement behind me. Using my whole best ability to react, I turned around with my fist clad in ice to form claws.

He caught my hand and used his kick to hit my chest.

*Arrggg*

(General pov)

Cyrit stood in front of Varay with his sword thrust forward, ready to stabbed Varay whose reaction time seems to be weak.

As the sword was about to make contact with Varay's neck, a large fan that appeared out of nowhere blocked Cylrit's sword before it could reach Varay.

"huh?"

Cylrit was surprised, but he waved off the surprised feeling due to the incoming fan that was aiming for his neck.

Jumping back, Cylrit looked at the person who was holding the fan.

"I was hoping you guys would show up at Slora, but it seems like I was wrong" Said Madara while looking at Varay and then Cylrit.

"You must be Madara, the one who killed the other Retainers. It would be wi…"

"Kurama"

Cylrit had to stop midway and looked at the figure that could be seen from a far. His indifferent face changed into a scared one as he watched Kurama getting bigger and bigger until he dwarfed everything around him.

~Deal with those ships~ Ordered Madara as looked at the ships that weren't far from the shore.

*ROOOOAAAARRRR*

Kurama roared as he opened his mouth and changed a Bijudama before swallow it whole.

Just when Cylrit thought that Kurama's attack failed. Kurama opened his mouth again and what followed was a barrage of bijudamas beams that were shot toward the ships.

"Don't be distracted now, you got an enemy right in front of you"

Madara's words caused Cylrit to realize that he still got two enemies in front of him.

Turning towards the direction of where Madara and Varay were. Cylrit was shocked to see Madara's fan only inches away from his neck.

Using the best of his reaction speed, he brought his sword in front of him and blocked the attack, but Madara sent a powerful kick that hit Cylrit's ribs, causing the sound of something breaking to be heard as his body went crashing at the near boulder.

*Boomm*

As he was about to stood up and defend, Madara shot towards him and spun like a tornado before sending an axe kick that caused Cylrit's lower body to sunk into the ground.

[Sharingan ]

Before Cylrit could even try anything, Madara used his Sharingan to put him under his control.

'Amazing! He defeated him so easily ' Thought Varay who this whole time was watching the one-sided battle that ended instantly.

"Go and calm down your soldiers, I can hear them screaming all the way here" Said Madara as he looked at Varay.

"It's their first time seeing something like that" said Varay while looking at Kurama.

"I'll deal with things here, go before they wet themselves".

Varay hesitated for a second, but decided to nodded and flew away.

"Now talk" Said Madara as he looked at Cylrit.

"I was sent here in order to lure the Lances and you to this city while the Scythes and their soldiers invade other cities and towns. Those ships are just empty decoys"

"So where are the Scythes? I haven't noticed any other ships or sensed their presences".

"The Scythes have already arrived here before me, they are using an artifact to block anyone from sensing them. It won't be long for them to finish the mass teleportation portal that will bring forth the whole Alacrya army"

"Where are they??"

"Kalberk city @f?#...IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO CANCEL YOUR MIND CONTROL OVER HIM, BUT I MUST SAY. YOU REALLY A MYSTERIOUS ONE"

Madara was surprised by the sudden change of voice, and what the Retainer said.

"Agrona"

"YES, THOUGH I'M SURPRISED YOU KNOW ABOUT ME…THOSE EYES, THEY ARE THE SAME AS HIM. I NEVER KNEW THAT ONE OF HIS KIND SURVIVED AND HIS NOW CAUSING ME TROUBLES

WHY DON'T YOU JOIN ME, BOY? I CAN GIVE YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT, I CAN EVEN GIVE YOU DICATHEN IF YOU WANT. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS JUST JOIN FORCES WITH ME

"If you want me to join you then I have one condition"

"SURE, JUST SAY IT"

"Fight me and win. If you do that, then I'll join you"

"I SEE. WE'LL MEET AGAIN MADARA" Said Agrona as he canceled his control over Cylrit. Causing the retainer to go unconscious.

Madara looked at Kurama's direction and saw that Kurama was preparing a big bijudama to finish the ships.

He grabbed Cylrit's cape and pulled him out of the ground before throwing him up to the sky. And at that exactly time, Kurama fired his bijudama .

Cylrit was swallowed up by the bijudama alongside the ships that blown to bits.
