Chapter 38: LYON

We stopped for the day, not long after leaving old Cyrus, maybe another two and a half hours ride away. I told the guys what time we were leaving in the morning, and left them to their own devices. There were bars and clubs in the area which is one of the reasons we decided to stay here to begin with.

I knew some of the crew would be hyped up after a day of riding, and they would need to blow off some steam, but they knew the deal, no bullshit.

No unnecessary conflicts and any other crap usually associated with people's perception of bikers, especially not with my woman riding with us.

I put my aches and pains aside to take care of her. "Uhhh, I'll never walk again." She crawled, walked, into the room and fell face down on the bed.
