Without wasting anymore second, he picked up the call and greeted the person from the other side of the phone, "Hey, darling..! Already missing me?"

"Who said I'm missing you! I've just called you to know how everything had gone there. So now don't waste any of our time and tell me everything in minute details.." The caller who seemed to be a woman, asked in a not so pleasant tone from the other side.

Throwing the towel on the couch, Ethan walked towards the mirror while saying, "Everything went good there. Mom and Dad also went back to their place."

"That's good to hear. By the way, I seemed to be in a very big confusion right now. Even after thinking very hard, I still can't come into any kind of conclusions." The lady said in a puzzled tone.

A frown appeared on Ethan's forehead as he enquired, "What kind of confusion?"

The other person fell in complete silence for few seconds but soon replied back, "I can't understand how that girl, Katherine fell into your trap?"

Ethan who was now combing his hair, stopped his movement and interrogated in a comparatively low tone, "Trap? What kind of trap? I can't able to perceive what are you actually talking about!"

"Hey! Don't need to pretend to be oblivious right now. I'm sure you already have every idea about what I exactly meant to say. After all, you were the one to initiate the plan first." She kind of threatened him to spill the actual beans.

"No.. I'm telling the truth only. I'm seriously not able to comprehend anything." Ethan tried to persuade her.

Hearing his voice turning both serious and worried, the caller couldn't able to hold herself any more and burst into a huge round of laughter..

"Oh My God, Ethan! You're really the sweetest grandson anyone can ever have my boy. I was joking with you. Actually not a complete joke! Because I was asking you how you were able to trap my beautiful granddaughter-in-law by your poor looks..

After all, you may look handsome but not as charming as your grandpa. I mean, if it was me in Katherine's place, I'd have never chosen you as my husband as you look too much dull in comparison of my attractive hubby!" She stated proudly, still laughing at her grandson's expense.

Ethan just rolled his eyes at his grandmother's way of beating around the bush so that she could tease him to the fullest. But he couldn't stop a smile escaping from his lips..

Shaking his head at her antics, he snorted, "Seriously, Granny! You are comparing me with that old man? For God's sake! I'm way more handsome than him…

Girls drool over my stunning look and here you're saying that the old husband of yours is better than me. I just can't believe you!"

Ethan's grandmother narrowed her eyes, not able to hear anything bad about her husband and scolded her grandson, "Hey! Don't call my husband old. You don't know how many girls were behind him when we were still in our younger days...

And speaking about girls drooling over you… it doesn't matter anymore now. What should matter now is, if you can make your wife fall in love with you. Remember, you're a married man now and your wife should always be your top priority.."

"Yes.. yes.. I know that very well. And stop praising your husband all the time. It'll boost Grandpa's already over the moon male ego.." Ethan retorted back.

His grandmother just laughed it off before saying, "Fine... Fine... I just called you to know about your whereabouts. Now that I'm done, I'm going to hang up."

"Hmm… Bye granny. I love you." Ethan said with a smile.

"Bye Ethan.. Love you too." She said before hanging up the call.

Ethan felt his mood getting a lot uplifted after talking to his maternal grandmother as a result of it, a smile never left his face..

Dinner was a peaceful affair for both of them. They had ordered pizza from outside as none of them had any energy to cook anything and had it with small talks..

Now Katherine was sitting on the bed, wearing a short silk gown which was barely covering her thighs..

Olivia had insisted her to buy this when they went for her wedding shopping at the mall. According to her, Katherine should wear it on her wedding night to impress her hubby dearest..

In fact, she had called her few minutes ago just to remind her about it and gave her an earful of ideas on how to seduce her husband for a whole ten minutes..

Katherine knew that, it was their wedding night and every husband expected their wife to look like the most beautiful or rather say sexiest woman of the world..!!

Although she had prepared herself for this day but still it was getting difficult for her with every passing second.
