Chapter 19: I Decline.

Shiro walked towards the ORC building with Kiba uncomfortably and wanted to hurry up.

The reason for his discomfort was the girls! They always gossip about Shiro! Yes, just gossiping doesn't make him angry but what irritates him is the girl's words that give him goosebumps.

"Ah look they fit so well right?!" said one of the girls.

"Fufufu academy prince kouh Kiba yuuto x White king Masayuki Shiro."

(A/N: Honestly I'm bad at naming things so if there's another nickname that fits Shiro let me know)

And similar conversations were held by the fujoshi.

"Hey can we go faster Those fujo women really give me goosebumps than fighting a bunch of fallen Angels and exorcists." Shiro said to Kiba.

"Ahaha well then why don't I cast a spell that keeps us from being bothered or noticed." Kiba said laughing weakly.

Kiba himself was careful of Shiro because he didn't know what kind of person he was. He had seen him use a sword to kill a group of wild exorcists and it made him want to have a sword fight with him.

(A/N: I don't know why I feel weird writing that? And maybe this will create a misunderstanding)

But seeing him so uncomfortable with the girls gossiping about him, made him laugh. It seemed he is not the only one, with the same fate.

Kiba himself was always surrounded by girls and that made him uncomfortable.

It's the same for Shiro he's always surrounded by girls, the difference they are 10×more girls, and it irritated him.

He himself didn't mind being popular but they gradually started to become annoying.

Shiro doesn't mind side characters like Aika, Murayama, katase or Abe even though they are side characters but they are still better than the other girls.

"it would have been better if you had done it earlier." Shiro said.(not like I can't do it)

"Sorry." Kiba said apologetically and as they continued to go to the ORC.

A few minutes later they arrived in front of the old building. Even though he had seen it in the Anime, but seeing it in real life is different, because he saw the building as if it was about to collapse anytime, with lots of cracks and moss on the walls.

"Don't worry it's really good inside" Kiba said after seeing Shiro's face was so unsure.

"I know" Shiro said and followed him inside.

And it's completely different compared to the outside. Inside is quite luxurious with many antiques.

Shiro and Kiba walked until they were in front of the door.

Kiba opened it and Shiro saw that there were three girls. 1 loli and two Onee-san type.

Koneko seemed to have sensed that Shiro was thinking something rude about her and looked at him.

Shiro who saw it was surprised 'do all loli have telepathy? ah and now she's glaring at me.' thought Shiro who saw Koneko glaring at him.

Koneko herself also didn't know why she was glaring at Shiro but she sensed that Shiro was thinking rudely about her.

"Welcome to the ORC Masayuki-kun. Ah please have a seat first."

"Um." Shiro nodded and sited down.

"My name is Rias Gremory nice to meet you Masayuki Shiro-kun." said Rias greeting Shiro.

"My name is Himejima Akeno, nice to meet you Masayuki-kun" said Akeno.

"Toujo Koneko." Koneko said simply.

"My name is Kiba yuuto nice to meet you Masayuki-kun." Kiba said.

"Nice to meet you all my name is Masayuki Shiro." Shiro introduced himself to them.

"So Masayuki-kun I'll get to the point do you want to become a member of my peerage?" Rias offers.

Hearing this Shiro sighed and said "Huh.... You know Sona-Kaicho already offered me that, but I'll ask again what benefits do I get?"

"Ah you know your age will increase, by becoming a demon you will also become stronger, you get wealth, you..." Rias said blah-blah-blah offering me almost the same offer as Sona.

"Ah I'm sorry, i decline the offer... you know? Sona Kaicho said the same thing and what made you think I would accept it?" Shiro asked.

Shiro couldn't possibly place himself in submission to others. He was also surprised by many fanfics with MCs who have OP powers but want to become someone's slave just because they want to be close to Rias or another girl.

Shiro would never do something like that. Shiro is a person, who if he does he should have a benefit. Even though Rias is beautiful there are many ways to get her.

"Hah... I don't have anything else to offer. But at least I tried to persuade you." Rias said sighing honestly she didn't know how to make Shiro agree.

After seeing his strength last night Rias wanted to make Shiro her knight because of how fast he moves.

But she also couldn't force him, because even though she glimpsed his strength, she knew that Shiro was stronger than herself and it was also not her way to force others to serve her. She also didn't want to call her brother for something like this.

(A/N: I changed Rias's personality a bit because there are always people commenting about not liking Rias or blah-blah-blah so I changed her a bit she's no longer a bitch who seeks power)

"Masayuki-kun, here is the tea." Akeno said giving the tea to Shiro because the atmosphere was a little strange after he rejected Rias.

"Thank you Himejima-senpai" said Shiro.

"Ara~ it's okay Masayuki-kun. You can call me Akeno if you want." Akeno said.

"Then you can also call me Shiro, Akeno-senpai." Shiro said not to refuse Akeno's request.

"Ara~ then I'll call you like that Shiro-Kun" said Akeno.

Shiro then drank the tea that Akeno prepared. He has to admit it was really tasty.

"The tea is really delicious Akeno-senpai." Shiro said after having drunk the tea.

"Ara~ thank you very much for the compliment Shiro-Kun" said Akeno.

"By the way Masayuki-kun can we spar a little later? I saw your Swordsmanship yesterday and I want to try to fighting with you." Kiba asked Shiro.

"Sure, I don't mind." Shiro said. He didn't mind beati- sparing with him.

"I'm looking forward to it." Said an exited Kiba.

"Masayuki-kun if you can't become a member of my peerage can you become a member of the occult research club?"

"Hmm... Okay I accept it, there's no harm in joining the club. With the help of you and Sona Kaicho I can skip school without any problems and also I have a place to eat without being bothered by girls."

Hearing that Rias's lips twitched, because of the reason for joining the club.

And that's how I joined the occult research club and also got a skipping ticket and a nice nap.

Hopefully no one will object to this. Because after all I don't feel the need to antagonize the Devils and even though many people dislike Rias there's no denying that she's beautiful so isn't it a waste to ignore her?
