A Formidable Yet Forbidden Skill

"I-It's—"

Gianna couldn't hide the shock in her voice which was already stuttering as she stared at her friend. The strange black energy wasn't something she could remove even if she used all of her remaining powers, or even with the help of the angels near her.

Even if she called the high-leveled Angels to extract that black rounded pearl located on her chest, there's no way they could remove it and save her at the same time.

It wasn't just possible. The two races were not made to be united in the first place.

"It's coming from you, Luna."

This kind of energy wasn't just dangerous to the angels but to the humans as well. Demons were given a place to reside in because of that reason.

They shouldn't harm humans… although sometimes, they do that without them knowing as it was their nature. Angels and demons were created and divided to maintain the balance of humanity.

The angels take care of the people with pure souls, while the devils take care of the bad ones. That's the reason why they have that enormous power within them.

If the main source of the dark energy is Louisanna herself, the only way she could eliminate it is to kill her.

'How can I do that if I was commanded to protect her?' she said at the back of her mind, slightly confused because, at this time, she didn't know what to do.

Louisanna's dark energy sent shivers down her spine as the black smoke transformed into a black rounded light. The lights moved faster— even faster than her eyes as it created gravity to make Louisanna float in the air

Her place wasn't too high, yet not too low. It was enough for the black light to surround her body. Unlike earlier when Louisanna was groaning in pain, she was now unconscious as the darkness consumed her.

"Is everything okay here?"

Gianna snapped from her thoughts when the nurse came back in their place. Good thing that she was able to go back to her human form despite being shocked.

The nurse find it weird to see Gianna trembling while sitting on the floor as she thought there was nothing that can make her feel fear in this place.

'Perhaps, is there a ghost here?' the nurse asked herself in her thoughts. She slightly felt a chill on her spine but she managed not to entertain her fear.

"It's fine. I just… slipped."

Gianna chuckled at the back of her head because of her ridiculous statement. She didn't know if the nurse would believe in her, but at that time, she didn't care anymore. She stood up as she fixed her skirt.

Her glance made her way to Louisanna who was slightly trembling as she lay on the floor, but Gianna can still see her soul covered in black.

That's the time she realized only her soul was floating, and the nurse wasn't able to see it.

In the human eye, she only sees Louisanna sleeping.

"I need to go back to our room. I have classes," Gianna told the nurse who just nodded at her. "Please take good care of her. I'll come back here later."

"I will."

With that, Gianna went outside of the clinic, not to go to the classroom, but to report what happened to the higher-ups. This circumstance wasn't something she could decide alone as this is the first time this kind of situation happened.

She went inside a vacant cubicle inside the comfort room, and as soon as she entered the place, she closed her eyes as she placed both of her palms in front of each other.

"Portal open."

With that, white light surrounded her as the wind increases its intensity, just enough to blow her hair and the skirt she was wearing. She started to change into her angel form again as she felt her wings rooting on her back.

In the blink of an eye, she was gone like ash.

"Oh f.uck, did you feel that?"

One of the three female high school students who entered the comfort room to fix their make-up suddenly stopped walking as she felt the strange energy that sent shivers down her body.

It was like a ghost was here and it walked past them. She couldn't help but hold her arms using both hands as she rubbed them onto her skin to make her feel warm, even for a bit.

"It became colder. Is there a ghost here?" the other student asked. "Are the rumors that there is a female ghost here true?"

It wasn't just her who felt that kind of energy. Even her friends who were just laughing earlier as they were looking at something on their phone suddenly stopped speaking as they felt goosebumps on their bodies.

"Let's go! I can't stay here any longer!"

"Aahh!"

As if on cue, the three of them ran away from the bathroom with no plans to come back. Gianna was the one who spread those rumors since she used this place for her teleportation.

There are times Gianna breaks the rules as she wanted to visit her mother and father, but ever since this lifetime started, she wasn't able to go back as she needed to monitor Louisanna intensely.

Especially now.

Not to mention this school they're studying with was built two lifetimes ago.

The chilling sensation the students felt earlier was the effect of Gianna's teleportation. Humans may call Angels an innocent species who can't hurt other people, but it wasn't their true nature.

Angels were also called Heaven Protectors for a reason, and with that, they needed to make a strong defense that people would be intimidated by their energy as soon as they felt it.

Humans were not an exemption.

Meanwhile, as Louisanna lost consciousness while waiting for her class, her mind went somewhere… far.

Gianna may have seen her trembling in pain while lying on the clinic bed, but in the place where she was right now, she feels the opposite.

She feels happy, optimistic, and cheerful. Louisanna wasn't able to feel this for a long time as problems always bombard her even if she wasn't ready.

But that was the nature of life.

It was unfair that it would bless the already blessed ones, and punish people who were already suffering.

For her, life would always be like a fucked up society. She sighed in relief as she shook her head. She was in a park where the sky was blue and the sun shines on her body.

It wasn't too hot, yet it was enough to give her the warmth she only felt when she was with her mom, and Gianna.

Only her was walking to the park, which is a plus point for her since she loves it when she's alone. Louisanna couldn't hide the smile on her face as she snapped her hand.

In a blink of an eye, she wasn't wearing a uniform anymore. Her clothing was already a sleeveless white dress that has a length above her knee.

It complemented her already white hair.

The only thing that was weird for her are the black dents on that dress, but she didn't mind it anymore as she continued walking while admiring the scene.

"This feels nice," Louisanna whispered to herself as scanned the place. "But this wasn't the place I wanted to be."

She raised her hand up to the sky.

A powerful white light that came from her palm beamed up to the sky as the sky parted in half. That power looked tremendous as the trees in her surroundings started to disappear as the wind blew on them.

The same as the other objects placed in the scene, like the benches and some balloons floating in the air earlier.

The blue sky and white clouds were replaced by immense darkness. Only the gleam on her palm was the only source of light at that place. A combination of black and white energy moved around her body without her knowing.

She just felt like her ability to control her surroundings increased. Her eyes even transformed to the color white as she closed her eyes to change her environment.

Louisanna smirked as her eyes reflected accomplishment as she felt powerful controlling the whole place, thinking that it was just a dream.

Without knowing that she was already using one of her most formidable skills— A forbidden one.
