81 The Conversation

Olivia, even though aware that Hanzo was trying to give her attention, maintained her distance and showed a cold demeanor. She knew that her heart belonged only to Khane, and nothing could replace his place in her heart. 

Every time Hanzo was around Olivia, her feelings immediately shifted to alertness. Her beautiful face would turn somber, and there was no smile for Hanzo, despite his gentle demeanor. In every conversation, Olivia would only express her desire to return to her lover, not to stay with Hanzo, who was obsessed with stealing another Alpha's partner. 

Hanzo, though frustrated by how difficult it was to approach Olivia, remained determined to make her like him. Each rejection only fueled his efforts, although sometimes it just added to the tension between them.
