47 She's not believe me

[Khane's POV]

Olivia looked confused by my explanation about mates and who I really was. She remained silent, not giving much of a response. A few times, though, she shook her head, trying to dismiss what was running through her mind. 

Her expression was adorable, like a child curious about something. But when she got the answer, she brushed it off with childish reasoning. I could barely hold back a laugh as I watched her. 

When our eyes met, Olivia squinted as if trying to verify my words. I smiled, and she quickly said, "No, no way!"

She was clearly showing her disbelief in what I had said.

"What's wrong, sweetheart? Do you want to ask me something?" I asked, trying to get her to speak instead of keeping everything bottled up inside. 

I much prefer seeing her talk, especially when her heart is racing. It shows she's excited or in disbelief.
