A FRIENDLY DATE

"Are you seriously free for the day or did you push your work for me?" Noah asked as he munched on the cotton candy which she got for him.

"I was free because I worked for two weeks straight. For doctors, eventual leaves are allowed or else we would be worn out." Ren assured him as she noticed him munching on the candies with a pout.

"Then you should be resting."

It was really amusing for her because the boy seemed to care for everything around him but his face spoke other ways. He was solely concentrating on the baby blue candy which was as big as his face but kept talking to her. His eyes widened every time, the sweetness tangled in his tongue.

"I am fine, this is also kind of a rest." She smiled before pulling her car into the park.

"Is this were we are supposed to go?" He asked excitedly looking at the flower garden.

"Do you like it? This is the best season to come here and I haven't been here since the past three years."

"Why? You live here so why didn't you?" He asked stuffing the rest of the candy into his mouth and throwing the stick away with a eye smile.

"I don't have much friends here apart from my co workers. They would have duty when I am on duty off so I really don't to hang out with people."

They both were walking to the path in between the flower garden feeling the slow breeze hit past them. Noah was really happy as he carefully observed every flowers that were surrounding him. Ren was busy admiring the flower next to her as he looked much better than those colourful flowers.

"It is so beautiful." He squealed as he ran to the cherry trees at the end of the path not caring about anything else.

Ren smiled looking at him before running behind as others were giving them subtle looks. Ren considered it a date even though she wasn't sure if the boy would know the meaning of it. He some how didn't talk about Lia after that and it calmed her down a little. He was waving at some kids who were playing in the park and immediately one of kid ran to him.

"Hello." The kid greeted him as she pulled the hem of his sweat shirt.

"Hey, little hooman." He greeted the kid and crouched down to her level.

"Are you here alone?"

"No, I am with a hmmm, a friend." He smiled at her before pointing at Ren who was approaching the duo.

"Hmm, so you have no time to play with me?" The kid with curious eyes as she held on to Noah's hand tighter.

"Of course, I have. But why are you playing with me when you don't even know me?"

"You look fun and cute." She pinched his cheeks and giggled.

Noah looked at Ren not knowing what to do because it is not his world. It was normal for him in his world as all the kids would somehow get attracted to him and makes him play with them. Ren smiled at him as it was okay and he could play. Noah cheerfully held the girl's hand and walked into the park as the kid suggested.

"That was fun, right?" Noah asked panting hard after an hour of running and jumping.

"You are so cute." The kid jumped holding his hand.

"You are more cute but tell me where your parents are." It took him an hour to realize that the kid was alone with him.

"They are busy at work so I come here to play. My house is nearby so I walk home after some time." She smiled before running to another ride on her own.

"The kids here are trained well so don't worry." Ren spoke as she handed a bottle of water to the boy who looked totally dead.

"I can see that." He drank the liquid quickly while pouring half of it on his sweat shirt.

"Uhh, you must be careful." Ren took the bottle away and tried to wipe the water with her hands.

"It's a mess. I am always a mess." He stomped his foot as he tried to dry it.

"That won't help, maybe wait for it to dry." Ren suggested as he hid her laughter behind.

"My shirt is getting wet." He alarmed before pulling out the red sweats hurriedly.

Ren's eyes nearly popped out of her eyes seeing the tight fitted strip shirt which he wore. He had it tucked in, in his tight pants showing off his perfect waist line and big buffed up chest. He looked a lot more handsome in that way or maybe a lot grown up too. She gulped down before changing her focus to somewhere else as her cheeks flushed at the scene.

"This is better." He said cracking his neck before folding the sweat shirt over his hands.

"Yes, so shall we go somewhere else? Like we need to get you a phone too."

"I don't need a phone thou. All I know here is you and Lia so doesn't make any sense. Lia is always with me and you would come back in the evening." He rejected the offer.

"That is a basic necessity. You might need it at some point so we need to get it as early as we can. I am anyways free till tomorrow noon." Ren rocked her eyebrows at him to earn a small hum as reply.

Noah said good bye to the kid before walking with her to the car but on the way, he noticed the couple of eyes fixed on him as if they wee sucking out his blood. He subtly growled at them as it was bothering him, making him feel like an outcast.

"You are just too handsome that all are watching you." Ren smiled at him before holding his hand as an assurance.

"Hmm."
