Chapter Fifty one - Adrian and Stacey kiss!

Stacey's heart skipped a beat as she set the glass down, her hand trembling. Before Rachel could continue, Stacey was already moving, her feet carrying her swiftly towards the bedroom. The glass shattered on the countertop, forgotten.

As she burst into the room, Adrian's eyes met hers, a flicker of surprise crossing his face. "Ma'am," he said, his voice low.

Stacey didn't hesitate, flinging herself into his arms. "Adrian!" But as she wrapped her arms around him, she heard him wince in pain. She pulled back, her eyes wide with concern. "Oh, I'm so sorry! I forgot you were hurt."

Adrian's face twisted in a mixture of pain and amusement. "It's alright, ma'am. I'm just a bit... tender."

Stacey's hands fluttered over his chest, as if trying to erase the pain. "I'm so sorry. I wasn't thinking."

Adrian's eyes locked onto hers, his expression softening. "You have nothing to apologize for, ma'am. I'm just glad to see you're safe."
