Chris

Chris had just gotten home from the SA( Secret Agent) base, before he could open the door to his house and stepped in, he checked his phone and saw missed call from Skyler.

Was he seeing things ?

Or probably someone was using her phone to track him down ?

He tap the screen of his phone, going through his contact list, he tapped Skyler's name to call her but his thumb stopped mid-air.

Maybe he should go check her if she was home, she could be home right. Or maybe he should just call her to be sure first.

He tapped her name to call her and the phone was ringing but she wasn't picking up, he then decided to go check her in her apartment, he hoped she would be home.

Her apartment wasn't really far from his house so he got there quickly taking a taxi. As soon as he got down from the car after paying the taxi driver.

Chris got to Skyler's apartment ten minutes after Lucifer left, if not he would have been spotted by him.

Chris got inside the building using the elevator going up to the sixth floor where Skyler's stays. Getting to her floor, he tap her passcode, thankfully he knew it as she had told him before.

Getting inside her house, he closed the door behind him " Hello, Sky are you there " he called out but no response from her.

" Hey baby girl, are you home " he called her as he entered into her bedroom, his leg kicked the packages on the ground.

What was that ?

Bending down to check what it was, he then heard running water coming from the bathroom, she was truly home or was someone using her bath ?.

Couldn't be right ?

He was the only one who knew her passcode and was able to get into her house, he stood up from the ground leaving the package behind.

He saw Skyler's phone on the bed, Chris sat on the bed and decided to wait for Skyler to finish bathing. This would be the second time for him to be inside her house.

The first time was when he was drunk when he and Skyler had gone to a club to have fun, going back home he was staggering left and right and saying some incoherent words.

Skyler couldn't let him go home alone and let him pass the night at her house, that night wasn't easy for her as Chris had almost kissed her but had missed and fall right on her bed and slept till the next morning.

Remembering that day, he smiled. He then heard sound of door opening and he guessed she must be done bathing. Just then, he saw her entered in her bedroom and when she saw him she jumped out in fright placing her hand in her chest.

As her room was dark, she couldn't see who was sitting on her bed " Who are you and the f*ck did you get inside my house " Skyler said keeping some distance away, she wasn't with her gun or anything that could protect her from the intruder.

He couldn't believe it, she was alive after all. His Skyler was alive. " It's okay baby girl, it's me Chris " he gently switched on the light so she could see him.

" Chris ? Oh my God, Chris when did you get in ..... " hearing her voice, he couldn't be more happier.

He ran over to her and gave her a bear hug before she could finish her words. Oh, how he had missed her so much.

He pulled back after some time and scanned her from head to toe " is this really you " he asked still not sure she was the one standing right in front of him.

" Is there any other Skyler you know " he heard her say, how he missed her voice.

" You're alive " he said.

" Of course, I'm alive " he heard her say and she giggled like a little girl who just got her favorite candy.

" I missed you baby girl " Chris said.

" I missed you too, alright stop being emotional, how did you get inside my house and how did you know I'm back home " Skyler said as she sat on her bed.

" I know your passcode remember "

" Oh right, but how did you know I'm home "

" When I got back home that's when I saw your missed call, I was busy at our SA base so I wasn't with my phone. So I called your number to know if you were really the one calling me but you weren't picking up "

" Opps, I was having my bath " Skyler said and took her phone on the bed to see his missed call.

" At first I was surprised to see your call as I have been calling you since the day we couldn't find you at Williams sercet mansion "

" You guys came " Skyler asked.

" Of course, that day but we couldn't find you, not even Williams and his men. Everyone was dead in the mansion except the girls "

Skyler thought about Lucas, he had told her that he was the one who had saved her that day but how come Chris and the other couldn't find her location.

They would have come to take her away right, something was not right somewhere.

" I had sent you a lot of texts, even Mr Ken called your number he was so worried about you. I even asked Maya if she had seen you but she said she didn't " Chris said walking over to the refrigerator to get something to eat.

" Sorry, I didn't mean to ignore all your calls and texts. I wasn't even with my phone "

Chris opened the refrigerator and took out some snacks to eat, he came back to sit on the bed with Skyler.

" Seriously, where have you been all this while" Chris asked putting some fries into his mouth.

" It's a long story Chris, why don't I explain everything tommorow it's late and I wanna sleep " Skyler said yawning stretching her hands.

" Okay, good night " he said.

" Wait ? Are you going to sleep here in my house " Skyler asked, she thought Chris would go back home.

" Yes, sorry I didn't tell you on time "

" It's okay, I'll sleep on the couch then " Skyler said about to go to the couch when Chris stopped her.

" No don't, I'll sleep on the couch instead, good night baby girl " Chris said and he went to sleep on the couch.

" Good night " Skyler said and lay on her bed using the quilt to cover herself and not long after she drifted off to sleep.

Chris who slept on the couch stared at her " sleep well " he said before he too slept off after he turned off the light

***************LUCIFER'S MANSION******************

Lucifer and Jared sat at the dinning table, they were having their dinner when normal humans were asleep.

But then they were not normal humans, after the servants had served them their food they left the dinning room for the two of them.

Jared sat opposite Lucifer, he was eating his food quietly as he stared at Lucifer who was just twirling the glass of blood in his hand while resting his chin on his knuckles.

The servants had served them wine, but he had turned it to blood. Jared could see the cold expression on his face, since he had returned back he wasn't in a good mood.

Jared wondered what caused it but as he couldn't take it anymore as he decided to ask what his problem was to atleast melt some coldness away from him.

" You have been frowning ever since, do you plan to smash the glass cup in your hands "

Lucifer then noticed he was holding the cup too tight, he dropped the cup on the table and rested his back against the chair.

" Do you mind sharing to me what happened " Jared said when he saw that Lucifer didn't say anything.

" She doesn't love me " Lucifer finally said after some time.

Jared almost choked on his food when he heard what Lucifer just said, he quickly drank some water to clear his throat. After he had calmed down, he stared at Lucifer who wasn't looking at him.

" Really how do you expect her to fall for you, when she just knew you " Jared said.

" She was suppose to fall for me the first time she saw me, I took care of her and bought her things, I even took her home for her to know that I loved her " Lucifer said frustrated.

" Seems you've forgotten she's human " Jared said to see Lucifer finally look at him with his arms crossed. His blue eyes were darker tonight, he looked scary when there was no smile on his face.

" Human or not, there's what they call love at first sight " Lucifer said.

" Hmm, well do you know if she had someone else she loves that why she.... " Jared hadn't completed his words when he received a dangerous growl from Lucifer.

" Sorry, I didn't mean to provoke you I'm just saying you know " he raised up his hands on surrender.

" She doesn't have anyone, and if she does I'll not hesitate to wipe that soul out of this world " Lucifer said in a dangerous tone.

His sweet voice was nowhere to be found, he took a sip from the blood he was drinking as he narrowed his eyes dangerously at Jared glaring at him.

" Can stop glaring at me and I don't think it's a good idea for you to kill someone she knows, you will only make it worse "

" She won't know it's me " Lucifer said.

" She will find out one day " Jared said

" I wonder what she's doing now "

" Sleeping of course "

" Yes I know, I can feel the calmness from her but..... "

" But what "

" I can feel someone presence around her " Lucifer said and Jared rolled his eyes dramatically.

" Oh please, you think too much. She is surrounded by people "

" Hmm , I want to go see her to know if she's okay " Lucifer said.

" You can't be serious right " Jared couldn't believe what he just heard.

" Do I ever joke with you Jared " Lucifer said with annoyance laced in his voice.

" No, but didn't you just dropped her home before you came back, she's fine "

" You can't be so sure "

" Are you doubting yourself now "

" I'm not "

" You know you're really making me do your work now " Jared suddenly said and Lucifer narrowed his eyes at him.

" What do you mean "

" I mean attending meetings for your sake just so you can be with your lover, I mean you could have just told me and I can't stop you than you telling me she's in danger " Jared said.

" Hmm that, could you believe she acted as if she was dying so I could come back to the mansion so I could take her home, I mean you should hear how weak her voice was on the phone, she almost gave me a heart attack " Lucifer said placing his hand on his chest.

" You know this is the longest you have ever said, but jokes aside, she really did that to get you back ? "

When Jared saw that Lucifer didn't answer him he said " Hmm, I think I like her already she's....." he then realized he had said something wrong as he saw Lucifer eyes turned dark red.

" No, no I don't mean that I love her as mine, she's yours a hundred percent. I meant I like her personality.... please spare me you know what I mean " Jared said to see Lucifer's eyes turn back to blue.

" You better watch your mouth next time, or I'll peel it off " Lucifer warned and saw Jared zipping his lips with an invisible zip.

" What if they had seen your red eyes " Jared said, he meant the servants.

" Then I'll erase their memories "

" Hmm , I'll just go to bed " Jared said and hurried out of the dinning room before he said something that will provoke Lucifer again.

After their dinner, the servants came to clear the table. Lucifer didn't leave any trace of blood on the table to avoid suspicion.

When he got to his room, he took his bath without the help of the servants as he had said that he didn't want to be disturbed.

After his bath, he dried his hair and wore a blue pajamas to sleep when his eyes caught sight of the red night gown Skyler had worn his mansion.

The night gown was on his bed , he picked it up and inhaled her sweet scent " my angel, I missed you already " he whispered.
