HIGH-END BUNGALOW!

Lay and Andy were eating together in Lay's apartment. Andy was just renting an apartment beside his anyway, which is why they are often together.

John Andy Grey is already 26 and an IT graduate. He is good at fixing computers and hacking, too. Actually, a lot of companies in the IT industry had already offered him jobs because he's actually exceptionally intelligent when it comes to computers, even when he's just a student, but he turned them all down.

He chose to develop his own gaming application, which actually gives him no more than enough for all his necessary expenses every month. What's surprising is that right now he has become the subordinate of the person whom he is the one who feeds within the four years of their friendship.

"By the way, look for a high-end bungalow where we can transfer to immediately the next day. Put an $800,000 budget for it."

"An $800,000, bro? You have that much even if your stepmother didn't give you a penny from your father's properties?" Andy curiously asked.

"Just do it immediately after dinner," Lay said in a slightly authoritative tone.

"Yes, master!" Andy chuckles. "I can finally stay in a high-end bungalow and work for a kind master anyway. No loss at all." He smiled and looked so excited.

Lay woke up when he heard some noise from the kitchen. He looked at the wall clock; it was just 8:33 in the morning.

He immediately got up and went outside his small room.

"Good morning, bro!" Andy was sitting on the couch with a laptop on his lap. There was a cup of coffee on the round wooden table too, in front of him.

Lay immediately went in the kitchen to brush his teeth and use mouthwash. Then he washed his face and made coffee. After everything else, he went to the living room and sat beside Andy.

"What's the update?" he asked.

A big smile curled on Andy's lips. "Found one!" He turned around his laptop so that Lay could view it.

"Great news. The billionaire owner migrated to China already and was selling some of their properties here in the states. Good timing, this bungalow is just in the next city and only about a half-hour from here if there is no traffic. It is actually worth $1.5 million dollars, but they give a surprise 47% discount today, just today, because it is the 47th birthday of the previous owner. I called the broker and said that we'll check the property today. What do you think?"

"The featured images of the property looked good anyway. Let's go there then."

****

Lay and Andy reached their destination at 11:30 a.m. It was in a high-end subdivision, and the place was indeed magnificent because it was near the sea and the houses there were far from each other. It seemed so peaceful, yet alongside it was also a famous beach resort, which seemed so lively day and night.

Andy pressed the doorbell. "They knew that we were coming but didn't even wait to welcome us here."

"Is that necessary? They already give us a huge discount anyway, and I think the broker is just busy inside, maybe?" Lay replied.

The gate suddenly opened, and Andy's and Lay's eyes just got wider to see who opened it for them.

"Patricia Quinna Kash?" Andy quickly moved closer to her and looked at her from head to toe.

She's just wearing a simple white T-shirt with a cute cat printed on it, black skinny jeans, and white sneakers. However, she still looked very beautiful.

"Is it really you? The self-made billionaire and an international supermodel?" Andy was very surprised; his eyes were full of amazement at her beauty.

"Hi!" Quinna smiled, and she just looked even more seductive with it.

"Wahh!?" Andy gulped; he's seriously drooling.

"Are you John Andy Grey? The one who called that will buy the house?" She seriously asked, but she's staring at Lay.

"Yeah! But actually, my friend is the one who will buy it," Andy answered, but then he noticed that the lady was staring at Lay, who seemed to have just become a silent statue, stuck staring at Quinna too.

"Lay?" she asked.

"Oh, you two know each other?" Andy was surprised, but the girl didn't answer his question.

"Come in first!

The three immediately went inside. The whole property was indeed beautiful and wide. It was painted dark blue and white on the outside.

The house is as big as his father's two-story mansion, but the outside space is even larger. There is a small swimming pool on the left side and a beautiful garden full of blooming dwarf red and white roses. A wide lawn is in front, and there is a covered garage on the right side.

They are now sitting in the living room. All the furniture was crystal and creamy white, obviously a luxury.

"My aunt already migrated to China because their textile and porcelain companies are blooming there. It's been a month but no one is still ready to buy it, so she decided to give me this house yesterday. I don't need this house anyway, but if I could sell it, I could use the money for so many things, so I told her the plan and she agreed too. From 1.5 million dollars, it is only $750,000 now. If you have decided to buy it already, you can move in here anytime." She showed them the keys after the long speech.

"I like this place, and it's obviously cheaper than its real price anyway. Even 1.5 million dollars is still cheaper than its original price, especially when you add in the free furniture that the owner left."

"You're right!" Quinna smiled.

"Wow!" Andy exclaimed. He's currently checking the exquisite porcelain vase that was displayed on a small crystal table near the glass window. "Are you sure that you're just going to leave this porcelain vase here?"

Quinna shifted her gaze at him. "Porcelain products are already a sore to my aunt's eyes anyway."

"Your aunt must be very wealthy," Andy replied to her. "This one must be very expensive here in the US," he mumbles.

"How about the title and ownership of this place?" Lay asked.

"I actually left it in my house because I just came in here too lately right after my shooting. If you can pay me, I will give you all the documents immediately, and you can process transferring the ownership by yourself."

He laid his hand. "Keys! I will send the money to your bank account right away."

Quinna smiled broadly and threw the keys to him, which Lay immediately caught too.

He got her bank account number and the necessary information, but before he could fully confirm transferring the money, he looked at Quinna and squinted.

"Don't worry, I will send all the documents here tomorrow by myself. You will transfer them here immediately tomorrow, right?" She asked.

"Yeah!" He actually doesn't know, but he felt safe and trusted the girl.

However, after he had transferred the money, a glimpse of a mischievous smile flashed on Quinna's face. What could it possibly mean?
