The Family

Adding to his annoyance was when Clifford realized where the man placed his hand. His irritation grew even more without knowing why. When he saw Ingrid, he swayed his feet, ready to catch her, but the man beside her caught her right away. He clenched his hands and gritted his teeth and was fuming with outrage wildly when the man almost kissed Ingrid on the cheeks.

At that moment, he felt his ears start to feel warm, and he knew it began to redden, which flushed his cheeks. He is unfamiliar with this emotion, which almost affects his thoughts. He is becoming territorial and wants to pounce on the man. Then he stopped and pondered upon his reaction toward Ingrid. He has never been this affected by any woman that came into this life until now.

'This is no longer good to me...' he huffed in defeat.
