The Best Grandma

"Oh my God! Hua'er..Hua'er..I missed you so much."

LinLin jumps towards Wang Hua and hugged her tightly. Wang Hua hugs her too and pats her back.

"Oh..oh my best friend, my soul mate, my life..I really really missed you. The three weeks without you is so dull, no sunshine, no rainbow. Everything is incomplete without your grace."

"Hahaha..you're so dramatic, too exaggerating, LinLin."

"I'm not. Don't you see how thin had I become without your nourishment. I miss your cooking too."

LinLin backs out from the hug and twirl around.

"Hahaha..you glutton. You can cook too."

"Not as good as you, right guys?"

The other four girls in the room nodded vigorously.

"Hahaha..alright..alright. I'm flattered. Now, let me tidy up my bed and closet first."

Wang Hua walks into the nearest room with LinLin tows behind her. She slumps her back on her bed and sighed.

"This feels so good. I want to sleep till tomorrow. I'm dead tired."

"Hey hey..don't sleep yet..you stinky girl."

LinLin try to pulls her up from the bed but Wang Hua do not budged.

"Come on, let me help you with your luggage."

"It's okay LinLin, I can do it myself," Wang Hua politely refused before she sits up.

She pulls her brown luggage closer before unzipping it. She brought out a medium sized box and pass it to LinLin.

"It's our family specialties, my grandma made them for you when she heard that you love them so much."

"Really? Really really?"

"Yes..really."

LinLin quickly opens the box and exclaimed.

"Wow..there're so many. Your grandma is the best. Thank you, thank you, thank you."

"Yeap..she's the best grandma in the world. She asked me to bring you too when I'm going back home another time. Do you want?"

"Really? Yes..yes..but I need to ask my mother and sister first. Yiihaaa..I can play in your family farm."

"You can post some for your family in City S if you want. It's not that far by courier. Share some too with the others, you glutton girl."

LinLin laughed before she walks out and share the goods with their housemates. A while later, she came back. Wang Hua already crouch in front of her closet to store some of her clothes and necessities.

"Hey...you look a bit tanned. But still pretty. Oh! Your hair is a bit longer too," LinLin said while she scrutinise her friend appearance.

"Hahaha..it's normal as I worked in the farm everyday during the holiday. I just went back home after a year here, so I can't possibly let my grandma doing all the jobs while I'm resting, can I? She's so old already. I'm really worried about her health. But she always claimed 'I'm still strong like a bull'. Tsk."

Wang Hua shakes her head.

Her paternal grandmother is someone she holds dearly in her heart, including her three years older, twin sisters. She did not know how her mother looks like as she was only two years old when her father abducted them from her mother family home. Apparently, they had divorced and her father took revenge on their mother for divorcing him.

But her father did not raise them up by himself. He just decided to abduct and abandon them to his mother before he vanished to who know where. It was their grandmother who raise them properly albeit she was poor.

She remembered her grandma said several times, "I might be poor, but I don't want any of you to drop out from your school just to reduce my burden. Remember, education is the most important thing in the world. With good education, you can get a good job thus can accumulate your money. When you have money and intelligence, people will respect you even they hate you. So don't say any of you want to quit school. I'm still alive and energetic. I can do the farm works when you went to school. When you came back from school, you all can help me too. So study hard. I'll feel happy and proud if the three of you can be successful in your life."

They felt immense gratitude towards their grandma. So, she and her sisters determined to study hard, so they can get a good job and took care of their grandma. Thus, here she is. Managed to get into a prestigious university with full scholarship. Her sisters too.

Her oldest sister, Wang Zhiruo managed to roll into University of M in biodiversity course with a scholarship from the Ministry of Education. Her second sister, Wang Zhilan is in University of P too, study in chemical and natural resources engineering. She get a scholarship from a large oil company in the world. They both are in their third year while she is in her second year.

"Hey hey..what're you daydreaming about? Come on let's eat at the cafeteria. I'm starving."

Wang Hua snapped from her reminiscene and smiles at LinLin.

"It's nothing. Wait for a while, I'll take a shower and changed."

LinLin pouted.

"Hahaha..I'll be quick."
