Wendy?

School had ended for the day but all it did was land Mabel in the Library. Megan had been too down that she got tired of the class and she literally screamed ' I HATE BIOLOGY ' for the subject teacher to hear, earning her a detention to stack books after school till 4:00pm. She was literally so angry that everyone thought it best to abstain from her. Mabel found out about it from one of the girls who just wanted to tell her something juicy and maybe formed a bond with her.

That's right, you heard clearly, Mabel Cee was popular now. Did she tell you how almost everyone in school told her Hi this morning and how she sat down with Lily Rose and the other girls at lunch period even though she didn't understand what they were saying, she did have a good time at lunch.

She had gone to get Megan to accompany her for lunch but Megan threw all sorts of tandrums that had her stepping away for some time. She just thought maybe Megan was still angry that no one told her an happy birthday but when she asked Lily Rose and her girls, they said they told her one, so she didn't even understand what made Megan still angry.

Sighing, she went into the library to find Megan standing in the middle of a pile of books while she placed some on the shelves. " Hey", she called out softly expecting Megan to lash out at her like she did during lunch period but all she got was a smile, a small smile which quite didn't reach her eyes.

" That's ummm a lot of books, you need help?", she asked feeling a bit awkward but all she did was hear Megan sigh. " I could help you I know my way around the library very well", Mabel still offered and even dropped her bag and began to help Megan with the books on the floor.

Megan stopped what she was doing as she watched Mabel walk around placing the non fictional books in the racks. She pouted her lips in an alluring manner. She knew she was being moody but she couldn't help it, what Mabel asked about Wendy did matter.

Wendy had been trying to get on her good side so why didn't she bother to wish her an happy birthday, all that mattered was the news, no one in the house wished her. She stared at Mabel for a while, just because she was sad didn't mean she should drive everyone away, that would be stupid, she took in deep breaths before finding her way to her school bag.

She took out her phone and went to music app and picked up a nice song by Rae Sremmurd ft Swae Li ' Black Beatles' and pressed play. Just then the song began to play and Mabel turned to stare at her puzzled, she flashed Mabel a sweet smile this time which reached her eyes for real and Mabel smiled back before they both started to work and dance to the tune of the song.

As soon as it was four on the dot. They both finished up and found their way out of the school. They both walked together to the parking lot whilst making small talks and smiling sweetly. Before getting into her car which was parked not too far away from Megan's cute lexus jeep, Mabel stared at Megan and hugged her, " Happy birthday Megan, I wish you the best day ever", she whispered for only Megan to hear and Megan felt like tearing up as she hugged Mabel in return.

They soon parted and smiled sheepishly at each other as Mabel got in her car and drove off school property. Megan finally let her tears drop one by one, if Mabel thought she was lucky to have a friend like Megan then Megan felt she was blessed to have a friend like Mabel. She would do anything to keep that friend with her forever.

Mabel arrived back home and got down from her car. She brought out her blue purse and stared to search for her house keys as she approached the door. She was about to step on dog's poop when someone quickly stopped her. " Watch out, I just saw a dog poop there", the woman's voice came and Mabel stared at the ground before leaping away. She glared at the house opposite hers and immediately turned around to thank the person who warned her.

But what she saw shocked her, this person looked like a mature version of her friend who she just saw and spoke to a while ago. " Wendy?", she called out unsure of herself to see the person smile at her. " I see Megan's told you about me, Hi Mabel", Wendy replied back and Mabel could only stare back at her in both confusion and admiration.
