Colton reluctantly dropped her at the hotel according to her request.

" Are you okay? He asked concerned helping her down.

" I'm fine"

" Are you sure he won't come after you?

" It can't be helped, Colt. I can handle David. No need to worry'

" You're not safe" she giggled staring at him.

She never knew he was that worried for her perhaps Alvin have talked some senses into him.

" If I didn't know better I would have thought you cared for me"

" I'm sorry about everything. It turned out you weren't a golddigger. I misjudged you " she hummed trailing to the entrance.

" What a world huh? Thanks for today Colt. I have no grudges against you even if I do it's cleared. My contempt is for Alvin. He hurt me not you" she tells him trailing off while Colt scratched his head then drove off.

The look on Alvin's face when he entered the house was menacing thus he cleared his throat.

" Sir Alvin"

" Where have you been?
