Surprise

4 years later...

It's been four years. Yep away from my family and all that wickedness from them. Fours years in absolute isolation. During these four happy years, Azul got engaged and married, Aurora too. Zarek is married too, Richard is married. Elva is married, Xamira is engaged and a letter came for me inviting me to her wedding. I didn't want to leave my isolated paradise for her but what can I do. We are currently in a carriage and already at the capital. Everything seemed different, extremely different.

We got to the castle and I went in. I went straight to the King's quarters.

"King Father, Liveth Longeth" I said curtsying.

"Rise" He said

I did as instructed.

"King Father, you summoned me"

"Yes, I did."

"Why, if I may ask Father"

"I did it because tomorrow is your sister's wedding"

"I am well aware of that King Father"

"And also because you won't be going back to the east anymore"

"Why?"

"It is final"

I curtsied and left after he dismissed me.

What kind of father is this? He sends me away when I didn't like it, now that I like it, I'm not allowed to go back.

I went to Zarek's quarters.

"Zarek"

"Nyx, you're back"

I hugged him tightly and then pulled away.

"I missed you"

"I missed you more" Zarek said.

A very beautiful woman walked into the room.

"Zarek" She said.

She walked towards him and then noticed that I was there.

"Nyx, this is my wife Ivy, Ivy this is Nyx my youngest sister and my favorite"

"Hello, Nyx"

"Hello, sister in-law"

We discussed slot and later I wentwn quarters, took a bath, ate dinner, and then went to bed.

I got up because of the rays of sunlight that escaped through the curtains and found my face.

Yesterday was a whole of drama. Xamira and Olwyn are finally married. Lovely couple though. I love weddings and theirs was nice. Olwyn will have to learn how to tame Xamira.

I took a bath, cleaned my teeth, dressed up and then ordered Alicia to bring my breakfast for me .

"Princess Xeraphina, I can't bring your breakfast here"

"And why is that, Alicia?"

"Because the King, your father has ordered that you have breakfast with everyone"

"Why? That too all of a sudden"

"I don't know, princess"

I packed my hair in a ponytail. I, Alicia and Callum left for the dining hall. I walked into the hall and good gracious was it beautiful. This is my first time in my eighteen years of existence that I have seen it.

King Father was here, Zarek and Ivy were here, Richard and an unfamiliar woman was there but hold on... where is grandaunt. Come to think of it, I didn't see her yesterday. Where is she? Is she ill?

"Good morning, King Father" I said

He answered with a "Hmm"

I walked to a seat and sat down. I looked at Zarek.

"Where is grandaunt?" I whispered.

He panicked Why?

"Shh" He said.

I got irritated. I looked at Richard.

"Where is grandaunt?" I whispered.

He panicked too. What the hell is going on with these two? They didn't even look at me again. I ate my breakfast. I finished, thanked Father and left for grandaunt's quarters.

On my way there, someone held me. I turned around and saw Zarek and Richard.

"Nyx, come" Zarek said.

"I'm coming, let me go meet grandaunt"

"If you go there, you will be shocked" Richard said.

"Like a surprise?"
