Chapter Ninety Five - Hailey's the Boss

Hailey's POV

Lying in Adian's arms, occupying only half of the large bed, which I'm sure is larger than a king size. I know that it is dark outside but I tried twice to get of the bed in search of clothes but Adian refused to let me go.

At college, I would hear the girls discuss their sex lives and I always found what they shared sounded repulsive and because of that they would torment me. Many times they tired to set me up on dates but I would always refuse because I never felt a connection to anyone they introduce me too.

Even though I was a prude according to my roommate Carly, they still included me in their girls limes. If only I could have a sleepover with them now, they would be shocked to hear who was my first. I wish I was bold enough to call them. Shit, if Carly or any of the girls saw the video Adana uploaded, they would be shocked. I have to check my phone to see if they called.

Adana, I wonder if she and I could ever get back to where we were. Whatever her mother told her about me must be really bad.

Hmm, I wonder if men's arm pit always smell this good, Turning in his arms, conscious of the fact that I am as naked as I was born, I'm not totally embarrassed. After that first two times in the shower and then in the bedroom, I can never be embarrassed with Adian again.

I started kissing his chest and placing bites, "you know I will still walk around without a shirt right?" Adian says in a husky morning voice.

I laid halfway on his chest, "I'm hungry" I complained, feelime, the soft empty stomach growls.

In a quick unexpected turn, Adian turned me over, now lying on top off me, with his eyes still closed. "Me too" he said and started kissing and biting my neck and chest.

By the time I found suitable clothes to wear that hides all the hickeys Adian deliberately place all over my body, dinner was already prepared.

I turned on my phone as Mel insisted that she and I sit and allow the guys to serve us. I look at Mel being here and I miss Adana who had been here with me from day one.

Mel started to speak softly as the guys put the meal in bowls, setting the table.

"Don't worry, I will be leaving tomorrow." Mel said, confusing me as my phone started pinging off with notifications.

Tilting my head, "why?" I wondered, because Basil stays here and they are a couple.

Smiling, "you're the lady of the house and you're home. I've been staying to help Basil with things around here, but I do have my home." she explained.

"But isn't your ex-husband there?" I whispered softly.

Placing plates in front of us, "what are you girls whispering about" Basil leans closer to Mel and asks. By her nervous smile, I realize that she hasn't spoken to him about going back home yet.

With a panic expression, she stared at me, "we're just wondering how to get you guys to do the dishes." I told Basil and he seemed satisfied with my answer. Mel mouths thank you as Basil goes back to the kitchen counter to retrieve the food. I look up to see Adian frowning at me. I just smile at him hoping he doesn't ask me any questions.

I turned back to Mel, putting my phone on the table, beside my plate.

If it's about me being here then Mel is welcome to stay. She is Adian's and Basil's friend first. "you are welcome to stay here. You don't have to leave because of me." I said hoping that she choose to remain.

Surprised, "you won't have a problem with that?" she looked up as Basil comes to sit beside her and Adian came beside me.

Conversation around the table after, was light as Adian discusses work with Basil. I learnt that Mel is a receptionist at Knight's foundation.

"Mel, Hailey will be taking up more responsibilities at SullaKnights, I was thinking that I could transfer you to Sullaknights to work with her?" Adian suggests, adding. "you will have the same benefits as the foundation and maybe more, that is if you could handle working with Hailey." Adian jokes as Mel seems to actually be considering it.

"It would be a learning experience for the both of us, since I will be learning from scratch also." I said to encourage her. "It will be good to actually have at least one female friend in the company." I told her as Adian chuckles beside me and Basil bursts into laughter.

I nudged Adian in his stomach for laughing at me and glared at Basil.

"I'm, intrigued. Tell me why." she request and Basil was more than willing to fill her in laughing through the entire story, as he calls it.

Adian leans towards my ear, "I hope you don't mind?" he asks me, whispering.

Shaking my head, I smiled. "You know the company and you know her capabilities and like I said it would be good to finally have a friend there." I whispered back softly as we both turned our attention back to Basil.

Basil finally calms down, before Adian pipes in, "oh, your office will be moved to the top floor. In fact you will be using my office.

Before I even I thought about it, the words flew out of my mouth, "your office is scary." I blurted out, quickly touching his arm, ready to apologize as Basil starts to laugh again.

Feigning hurt, "what's wrong with my office decor?" he asks me while glaring at Basil.

Chuckling at his expressions, "it's not that, your furniture is exquisite, it just needs light." I shrugged my shoulders lightly.

Nodding, "okay, lighten the room, but keep the furniture." he instructed me,

Sorry I missed yesterday, but I doubled up today.
