(Chloe's Point Of View)

I didn't know how to describe what and just happened right now. From being shocked that the man I was with last night was the doctor here and that he might have interest in me. I know I'm not sure about that but why would he want it.

I know right?

But wait. How is it that a heart throb like him would be single. Mmm? Is he married and he mught be trying to use me. Or maybe widowed. No he looks to young for that but maybe he's divorced. I'm not getting involved witha divorced man. I don't want to face any womans wrath. My life would turn into a hell hole. There must be some twisted story behind his singleness.

Chloe!! get yourself together. I said at the back of my mind. I couldn't help but make out the worst scenarios in my head. How could I be sure if what he was. Maybe I'm exaggerating.

After a few days of sleeping in this bed and doing nothing productive. I had a few people from work come to check up on me. And yes, my lovely sister's neighbours were taking care of me too. I loved the home made food.

I loved the company too. I think I'm going to have to fall sick every now and then if Leonard was the one to take care of me. Goodness I'm dying inside. What does a woman have to have inorder to get a man like that. That man has to be a descendant of Hercules or something. How can one man have the attention of a woman like me by just being in the room. I even struggle to breath. Oh heavens!

As I was busy day dreaming about Leonard I heard the door handle open and I knew that this was his time to come and check up on me. My eyes landed on the hand and realised that it was a different one but quite familiar.

I could only look at the back of the head as he was looking back and the he finally turned quickly entering the door. That's when horses began running up and down my chest. I sat up straight making sure to arrange the pillow behind me. He stood there with a few strands of hair on his face before taking off the hat of the hoodie.

"Luke!" a silent whisper involuntarily came out if my lips.

I was scared for my life and mad at the same time. I couldn't help myself but make the worst scenarios in my head. I've heard stories of ex's who are psychos and I didn't want to be a victim of that. He looked at my leg which was held high and came closer. I still couldn't read his eyes. I didn't know what to do and how. I looked at the button on my right for calling the nurse but he looked at it the same time and walked there and stood by it.

"Chloe." he called me looking at my sleeping position with pitty. "Look I know this isn't the best time but Chloe I can't do this. I'm guilty and I know that but I'm sorry." he tried to reach out for my hand but I moved it before he could reach it.

"This thing is feeding on my conscience and I can't. I've realised that I was stupid and I promise that.." but I cut him off.

"If you came here thinking that I would forgive you for cheating then you can forget about it."

"Let me prove it to you. I'll take care of you look at you , you can't even move."

"So you think that because I'm sleeping in this bed it will be easy for you to convince me because I can't do anything. That's sick of you you're taking advantage of my situation. That's not going to work. I'm not desperate."

"No leave."

"Please I can't."

"If you were able to sleep with someone else behind my back then why can't you live without me or maybe continue with her? "

"She said she doesn't want a person who cheats. We were only just having fun. She was having issues with her partner and now they're together."

"That's even better." I made a backflip at the back of my mind. He deserved this and I hope that they cheat on him again and again. He flew into my chest trying to hold me and beg.

"Get the hell off my chest Luke."

"Please!"

"No." He let me go and kneeled on the floor.

"Please I'l marry you right now " This man has the nerve!! "I said leave right now before I call the nurse." He got back up and tried holding me again but halted halfway when we both heard a third voice in the room. Leonard was standing by the door and didn't looked happy.

"The young lady said you should leave so I suggest you do that before I call security."

" And who the hell are you?" Like looked at him disgustingly. We're having a private moment as a couple."

"We're not a freeking couple Luke just get out." Leonard came and toward over him and deep down I made a little prayer that he would just leave before causing trouble.

"I'll say this once again." he placed his file on the bed.

"I suggest you leave right now unless you want to get out of this room on a strecher to the ER and trust me I will take good care of those wounds afterwards." Luke took once glance at me then Leonard before putting his tail between his hind legs and and walked out whispering a " I won't give up on you " before closing the door.

"Thank you." I sighed.

"I got you, are you okay though?"

"Yes I am, thanks ."

"Okay let me check you up then ." He took his file from the bed and began working.
