Strange people

“Guy, the little girls of these days are something else, Brian wanted to react but he has no choice but to accept the leadership of his little sister”.

“Leadership?” Alex asks making a face but his face just got more Ugly, the scars are not helping matters.

“Yes, Pat was practically giving us orders and teaching us how to use the guns”

“And where did she get the guns from?”

“I heard she’s now the wife of the Don on campus, at school”

“Wife!” Alex asked amazed, “Is she married?”

“Well, not married but his babe”

"You should know the difference, why mix the two” Alex asked behavior more maturely.

“Is fine, you've changed a little though” Jack reminded him, if not that Alex is flowing with him, Jack won’t have accepted it was him.

But Alex answered all his questions and knows every little detail about their past. So no doubt is Alex.

“I need to see Brian, he deserves to know that I’m not dead”

“Yeah, you’re right, but you know that guy, sometimes he doesn’t have sense” they both laugh and agree to go to Brian’s house together.

“That's not true” Brian yelled and Pat rushed out hearing the shout from Brian.

“What’s going on here?” she asks looking at this strange man with a burnt face.

"Alex!.. Is this you?” Brian asked again and Pat went closer and looked at him from head to toe. 

“What’s this?” she asked, her face showing so much contempt.

“This can’t be Alex, this could be a setup,”  Pat said and Brian was who almost at the point of hugging him withdraw from him.

"She may be right, maybe Lincoln has sent someone after them. This guy looks scary.” Brian thought.

Jack did his best to convince both Brian and Pat and they finally accept him after so many questions about their past.

“Welcome back man” Brian hug him. “How did it happen, how did you escape?” they ask, him all ready to hear his story.

“Is a long story”

“We are all ears, I mean, we are going nowhere,” Jack said and they all agree.

He told them only the things they needed to know and ask them to help him.

“Wait a minute,” Jack said. “Are you telling me that you are a king in some palace and we are still sitting down here?” hahaha they laugh but Alex didn’t laugh with them.

“Look, this is serious.”

“Okay, so you are saying you are not from this world or something?” Brian ask.

“No! That’s not what I’m saying, all I’m saying is that I, I mean we are just different from the rest of you like we can do and hear things differently the way you guys do”

“I’m trying to understand you because I saw you change into something the other day..” Brian paused as Jack and Pat looked at him with so much curiosity.

“So…” Pat ask urging Alex to continue what he was saying. Because to them it all sounded kind of strange but not to Brian. He already knows they are strange.
