Ye Heng heaved a breath of relief, seeing his elders' reaction.
They did not ask many questions and readily accepted that their son was a father to two five-year-old twins.
The reaction that Tang Shi Yi had been worrying about did not happen. Instead, the elders were anticipating meeting the two children.
The elders would probably want to follow Tang Shi Yi back to her apartment if it was not too late.
Ye Heng stood at the side with a glass of drinking water in his hand while watching his mother and Tang Shi Yi talk about the children.
"Elder Brother."
Ye Qing Xin's voice snapped Ye Heng out of his trance. He turned around and flashed his younger sister a smile.
"The reason you tell them a different story was because of the children?" Ye Qing Xin asked. Her voice was a whisper.
