Chapter 109
Kirsty woke up due to the loud ringing of her cell phone. She got up and was about to leave the bed when someone hugged her around the waist and pulled her back onto the bed.
"Dylan, let go of me," she said firmly. "Maybe it's an emergency."
Dylan quickly released her. She quickly left the bed, then picked up the cell phone that was on her office table and answered the call.
"Dr. Owen, speaking," she said.
"Doctor, my wife is about to give birth!" shouted the nervous voice on the other line.
"Okay. Just calm down and take your wife to Hill's Hospital. I'll be there." She hung up and approached Dylan, who was currently sitting on the bed. "I have to go." She gave the man the key to the clinic. "Lock this clinic for me. Thank you."
She rushed out of the clinic, and the car seemed to fly as it sped towards Hill's Hospital. When she got there, her patient was already in the labor room waiting for her.
