She Looks Disgusting

The glass of water shattered on the floor, breaking into a thousand glittering fragments.

Elena narrowed her eyes at the picture as she moved the phone closer to her face.

Fang Shi seemed to notice something was wrong, as he walked behind Elena to see what she was looking at.

However, right before he could get a look, Elena closed her phone and stood up. She turned around to face Fang Shi, and he flinched when he saw the hatred and disappointment in Elena's eyes.

"Tell your boss to go die in a hole!" Elena picked up her bag and turned around to leave.

Although she had already completely given up on Lu Chenjun, her heart still hurt when she saw the image.

'How can he just go out and sleep with another woman after inviting me to dinner?'

Elena's heart sank deeper every time she thought about it, so she tried to stop thinking.

'He is not worth my time or my love,' Elena told herself although her heart was bleeding.

Fang Shi watched Jin Yinghui's depressed back view get smaller and smaller and he frowned slightly before running over to her.

"Miss Jin Yinghui, can you tell me what you were looking at?" Fang Shi was hoping for some sort of clue to find out where his boss was.

Elena's eyes brimmed with tears as she ignored Fang Shi and continued walking.

"Does it have something to do with Mr. Lu?"

Elena turned around and scoffed, "Go ask your boss, he's having a lot of fun right now on the bed."

Elena opened the door to the driver's seat and threw the bag into the car so savagely it hit the car window on the other side with a crash before it slid down slowly.

Fang Shi winced as he watched Elena slam the door shut and drive away at a speed way over the limit.

After Elena's car was gone, Fang Shi called the leader of the private search team.

"Hello, Assistant Fang." A male voice sounded from the other end of the phone.

"Is there any news of President Lu yet?"

"Not yet, but we are still searching."

Fang Shi frowned, "Did you search his house?"

"Yes, we did. He isn't there."

Fang Shi paused as he thought about what Elena said earlier.

'He's having a lot of fun right now. . . on the bed.'

Fang Shi raised one eyebrow and said, "Search every single hotel in the Jin Province. Start from the cheaper hotels first, and check if Mr. Lu's name is registered for any of the rooms."

"Yes sir." The man hung up and immediately messaged his teammates about the new command.

Fang Shi entered the restaurant and apologized to the manager before leaving. He entered the car and turned on the engine.

'If Mr. Lu really is in a hotel, which one would he be in?'

Fang Shi believed that if Mr. Lu was purposely trying to hide, he would choose a cheaper hotel that he doesn't go to often. Therefore, Fang Shi ordered the search team to check those hotels first.

However, his assumption was far from correct. . .

Elena's tears had stopped, and her original sadness was replaced with anger. She shouldn't have trusted him.

She entered her apartment room and was surprised to see that Mila wasn't lying on the couch, watching the television.

Elena narrowed her eyes and walked into Mila's room. Turns out, Mila was lying on her bed, watching her phone.

Mila smiled when she saw Elena and asked, "How was it?"

Elena frowned and she angrily glared at Mila, "Horrible."

Mila turned off her phone and sat up straight, "What happened?"

"He stood me up."

Mila's eyes turned a fiery red as she asked, "What? He sucks!"

Elena scoffed and rolled her eyes, "That's not all. He stood me up and went to go sleep with another woman."

Mila's mouth fell open and she froze for a second before jumping off her bed.

"That bastard! You should have broken up with him earlier!"

Elena nodded in agreement. She was trying her best not to feel any sadness over a person like him. However, only she knew her heart was bleeding.

Mila cleared her throat and glanced at Elena, "But. . . who did he sleep with?"

Nothing could stop Mila's curiosity.

Elena's eyes darkened as she said, "His first love, Chu Hua. She sent an image to me."

Mila looked angry for a second before her eyes lit up, "Picture? Show me!"

Elena rolled her eyes and angrily glared at Mila before pulling out her phone.

"Is that Chu Hua? She looks disgusting!"

Elena couldn't hide her smile when she heard this comment.

"But, I have to admit, Lu Chenjun does look really good."

Elena frowned and Mila immediately shook her head, "However, he sucks as a person! Who cares if he looks good, how can he just stand you up and go sleep with another woman? This shows how horrible he is as a person. So what if he doesn't like you? He shouldn't hurt you like this!"

After hearing this, Elena looked down and bit her lips.

"Mila. . . Let's go to Japan."

Fang Shi drove to the LIQuan Company to look for Lu Chenjun although everyone was already gone.

The lights were closed as Fang Shi walked into the building and towards the elevator.

When he reached the 52nd floor, he found nobody there except for a security guard.

"Hello, did anyone come up here after Mr. Lu and I left?"

The security guard thought for a second before shaking his head. Fang Shi reentered the elevator after just getting out and pressed the first floor.

Where could he be?

Fang Shi thought about what happened before Lu Chenjun disappeared. Before Mr. Lu left, he received a call.

50th floor. . .

He was angry at the person he was calling.

45th floor. . .

He was talking about a picture.

40th floor. . .

The person on the other end seemed to be a woman.

30th floor. . .

Mr. Lu is mad at that woman.

25th floor. . .

Mr. Lu left the restaurant and stood Miss Jin Yinghui up. . . on purpose?

20th floor. . .

'Go ask your boss, he's having a lot of fun right now on the bed.'

10th floor. . .

Angry, picture, woman, Jin Yinghui, hotel. . .

1st floor. . .

Ding! The elevator door slowly slid open. . .

"Chu Hua!"
