Chapter 14
Elisa returned home after having lunch with James. She have just reached the elevator when the elevator door opens, Elisa sees Adeleen and greets her but Adeleen just nodes at her talking on phone she immediately goes towards her car. Elisa went to the elevator, she thought what's wrong with Sameul why was he acting so weirdly in the restaurant.
It's only noon so she thought that she should do some house cleaning. After an hour she has cleaned most part of their apartment, Elisa is cleaning her shelf of books while she saw the dust on books, she found a novel she used to read in her university days, the novel was about a girl who fell in love with a guy who studies at the same university with her although she had fell in love with him a long time ago when they collided with each other at the ground of university she wasn't able to tell her feelings to him even at their graduation, He l went to abroad for further study but she remains there and meets with him at the wedding ceremony of their common friend again and starts their relationship later she also finds out that he also have a crush on her on that day when their shoulders collapsed with each other's. Elisa puts the book on a side table, she starts cleaning the books again.
Elisa finishes cleaning all her books, when she walks she accidentally steps on something, she has stepped on a photo where she has worn a black dress and besides her is a tall handsome man she was looking somewhat awkward as she hasn't taken any photo with a man like a couple before her cheeks are slightly flustered on the other hand the man wasn't embarrassed at all he is standing straight with his robust body ,he has a gentle smile on his face the man and a women are just standing side by side of each other not too close but also not as strangers. Elisa picks up the photo and cleans the dust from her step on photo, she had put that photo in the novel before while cleaning the dust the photo must have fell out, she opens a drawer, there is a couple ring,a hand cufflinks and somehair pins she just put the photo on that drawer and the novel she used to read in her university, After
cleaning her apartment she feels slightly hungry, so she decided to go to mart and buy some vegetables to make noodles, when she reaches the ground floor she sees that Sameul is walking towards his car, suddenly his phone rings he stops in his footsteps after some moment he turns towards Elisa, he looks at the direction of Elisa but Elisa just walks as she haven't seen him, Sameul grabs her hand who is just passing by his side, Elisa hasn't just forgotten his behaviour in restaurant earlier, So she just turns around as if she has to say a lot of things but Sameul's gaze is as calm as ocean,"You..." Looking at Sameul's gaze, Elisa voice just doesn't came as she thought instead her voice turned into small "meow" as an scared cat,Sameul just eyed her carefully and passed the mobile in his hand to her, Elisa was confused by his action so she just lifts her brow as if asking what his gesture mean, Sameul fully turns himself towards her and releases Elisa's hand, "Grandpa wants to talk to you", Elisa understands his purpose without speaking she takes his phone from her hand, Immediately putting his phone on her ear,"Hello, grandpa, I'm Elisa", Elisa starts to talk normally as there have been no conflict between Sameul and her just now, looking at her from the corner of his eyes Sameul's lips slightly bent upwards.
While talking on the phone Elisa's face suddenly become serious as she looks at worriedly at Sameul, "I will take care of him, don't worry grand pa" ,She didn't notice the slight bent on his lips, she continues to speak softly on phone as she takes her eyes off from him, "Of course, I will come to meet you, goodbye grandpa" Elisa gives the phone as she hung up the phone.
Sameul looks at her and was about to open his car's door. "Mr.Miller" Elisa just softly spoke as if she is in dilemma to speak or not, Sameul listens her small mumbling but he just stops for a second before opening his car door.
Elisa wakes up from her stupor as she hears the sound door opening, "Mr.Miller would you like to have home cooked dinner?" Elisa steps forward and steps in front of Sameul as she looks at him in his eyes,"I will cook food for you and deliver it to your apartment" Elisa looks like she have some conflicts inward her mind.Sameul just looks at her and open his car door and get in the car. He looks at Elisa from side mirror, "Get in"
Elisa just stands there for a second in daze before she also gets in the car, after some hesitation she asks, "Where are we heading to Mr.Miller", Sameul starts the car, "Aren't you are going to cook dinner for me?",after that both of them didn't talk till they reach the mart, Sameul bring out a stroller they both went to the grocery store as they go through food section Elisa starts picking up foods by reading the ingredients carefully and Sameul just silently follows her with the stroller.
They both finished shopping and went to their building, Elisa has already pressed the 3rd floor's button.Sameul who is standing on the side of Elisa also presses the button of 7 th floor ,"Make food on my unit." Elisa looks at him but Sameul just doesn't give an eye to her reaction and just looks straight. "Hrmm... but Mr.Miller It's okay, I will make food and deliver it in your apartment." Elisa looks at Sameul like a puppy.
Sameul looks at her, "Then I will com..." the lift's door opens and Elisa has already taken a step when Sameul grabs her hand, pulling inside elevator once again Elisa knows what he wants to talk about . But she knew that Adeleen can come to his place and it's not good for them to go to each other's place so she just act like she didn't listen to his words just now.
