I have come to the conclusion that Collin was adopted. Don't get me wrong, Ace seems fine... I guess? But Collin and him are polar opposites. There's no way they came from the same gene pool, is there? Granted they looked similar, but looking at him in the light made the differences stand out more.

Here we were: sitting at a booth face-to-face an having a stare down. I officially gave up and rolled my eyes.

"Are we gonna talk or just stare awkwardly at each other for who knows how long until the waitress comes?" I huffed.

"I can think of other things to do besides talking." He smirked in triumph at his sly comment.

"Oh, so now you hit on me? What happened to not being your type?"

"Relax babe. I'm just messing with you! I wouldn't want to steal you away from my brother anyway. That'd make family dinners a heck of a lot more awkward. Besides, I don't do the whole dating an alpha female. Kind of ruins my college vibe, ya know?"
