"Sophie, stop talking." Linda Davis spoke up to stop her.
"Linda, why do you let her talk to you like that? Just because she's a little famous? Just because she's married well? What's there to show off? If we were like her, we wouldn't do this." Jealousy flashed in the woman's eyes.
"Let it go? Easy for you to say. She didn't hurt you. If you were the one being framed and insulted multiple times, I wonder if you could forgive her." Charlotte Cooper said coldly.
"And besides, what if I am blessed with good fortune?"
Charlotte hated people who stood on the moral high ground and demanded others to follow suit, especially since the incident didn't happen to them.
When encountering such people, Charlotte had only one thought - shut them down.
"You!" The actress's face turned ugly.
Charlotte glanced at Linda standing beside her, "I suggest you think carefully before you speak next time, so you don't accidentally become someone's pawn."
