" But I don't want you to go to hell mommy" cried Nelly as she hugged her mother.

"I wish we had a way sweety,I also want to go on many vacations with you. Mama loves you, you know that right" Crystal sniffled as she looked at her crying daughter.

In the background Robert Johnson crooned the song " devil at the crossroads".

Nelly pointed at the radio " mommy, we can ask for your life at the crossroads like this mister did".

Crystal smiled unknown to Nelly there was impatience and sharpness in her eyes " but sweety, who will pay the price for it".

Nelly gave an innocent smile " I will pay the price mommy,I will do whatever you want ".

Just like that Nelly stood at the crossroads at the midnight as her mother asked her "Nelli, babygirl do you understand, what you need to do" Nelli looked at her anxious mother's face and clenched the piece of paper in her hands.

" yes mama,I will do whatever you say" assured Nelly.

After a while Nelli dug out a small hole at the centre of crossroads where she placed a small box,it contained her photo, Mandrake roots, bones of a dead crow and a pence.

But Nelly didn't know that, she was given instructions and easy step by step procedure by her mother and she did just that like placing the box at the dead centre of the crossroads.

A rough husky voice sounded from behind her " Little girl did you loose your way" asked Rage when he looked at an eight years old girl standing at the crossroads.

"No mister,I am here to make a deal with you" said Nelli with an innocent but firm face.

Her mother told her not to be afraid if she met a stranger at that place.He was an angel that was there to protect her mother

Rage asked " what will you offer little girl".

Nelli looked at the paper in her hand and repeated what was written on it " A life saved,a soul given, I want you to save my mother from her illness and I will give my soul away for it".

Rage looked around if he could find her cold hearted bitch of a mother hiding somewhere.

But to his disappointed he felt the little girl alone, he could feel the heartbeat pulsating in anxiety five miles east probably where the old church was built..

He looked again at the girl, he slowly approached her and pecked her at her cheeks "ok baby girl deal done,your mother will be cured of her sickness and considering your age.I will meet you again ten years later to get back what is mine".

As Rage was leaving he turned back " A deal made,is a promise done baby girl remember that. I will wait for you when we will meet at the next time".
