"Oh no. You see what you've caused!" I whisper- scream.
"Me? You were the one who was yelling over something insignificant." He said shamelessly. I was lost for words.
"Insignificant! Just go hide, please." Without waiting for his response, I pushed him into the closet and went to open the door.
"Hi mom." She gave me a suspicious look.
"I thought I heard voices."
"Yeah, that was me. I was just ranting stupidly."
She looked into my room and stepped back. "When did you arrive? I didn't hear you coming in. And whose clothes are those? I haven't seen them on you before."
'So she did notice.'
"Karla's. I spilled something on myself and she gave me a change of clothes." The look my mom gave me was suspicious. I just hoped she would buy it.
"Alright. And stop talking to yourself. We've spoken about it countless times."
