HEATHER'S POINT OF VIEW
As soon as I entered the portal, I grunted in pain as I hold my stomach because of my period. I just hope that we won't do any physical training.
"Hey Gemini—oh no, are you okay?" Avior asked from behind as he walked towards me.
"I-I am good, j-just stomach pain, that's all." I replied as I looked at him.
"You mean, its the time of the month?" Zane asked as he scoffed and Avior and I looked up at him.
"Is it the time of the month for you too?" I asked as I stand straight and I glared at him.
"Why ask me that when I am clearly-" Zane asked then I cutted him off.
"In the mood to be all moody to other people when you were literally a flirt the other day? Yeah, I've been there when its my time of the month." I said in a serious tone as I crossed my arms.
"Sheesh Gemini, that was good." Avior said as he laughed then I laughed back.
"Whatever." Zane mumbled as he scoffed.
"Everyone, gather around." A familiar voice said behind Zane then we walked towards him.
"Good day everyone, I'm Travis Johnson, I am the guardian of the Fortune Telling which is connected with the Magicias until your guardian Lauren feels physically and mentally better." Travis greeted as we smiled and nodded.
"For today, I am assigned to watch all of you to complete your first mission as the Magicia users. Here I have the crystal ball and three assigned rooms in doing your first mission." He continued as the crystal ball and the rooms appeared behind him and I gasped.
"I hope all of you are ready since we only have atleast a month to do all of these."
"A month?" Avior asked as he frowned.
"Exactly, a month. We don't have much time to stay around and wait, especially when the enemies are somewhere in this world which is why we need to take action before it's too late." Travis replied then we nodded.
"Before you enter your assigned rooms, I wanted to talk for a few minutes about these whole consequences thing whenever you three say something about your personal lives. You see, in order to protect the Magicias, we must be careful on what we speak up to our other members. Don't take advantage to the consequences because the bigger the secrets are revealed to each other, the bigger the consequence gets." He continued.
"Oh and by the way, consequences are just a warning, so I suggest all of you only talk about the Magicias itself and not your personal lives. Do you understand?" He asked.
"Yes, Travis." We replied at the same time.
"Good. Now, all of you can head to your respective rooms. Goodluck!" Travis said then we nodded and did so.
I walked towards my assigned room then I closed the door. As I turned around, I saw a puzzle infront of me.
"Gosh, there are so many letters, h-how can I figure it out?" I panickedly asked.
"In your mission Heather, you will be visiting the mystery in the present time that you wanted to figure out why, but be careful." Travis replied through my speaker on my belt.
"I will." I said.
A few seconds later, a huge bright light appeared right infront of me. It's a portal, just like in the parallel universe. I went inside then I arrived back in it.
"It's still beautiful same as the first time I got in here." I mumbled as I looked around.
Suddenly, I saw Juliet from a room then I went inside and I slowly walked towards her.
"J-Juliet? Are you there?" I asked through her speaker as I whispered then Juliet send the notification to my phone saying, 'Hey Heather, look I know you are dealing with something right now and I get it. But, we can't communicate and stuff, especially when you're in the living room with your lovey dovey in his room ten meters away.'
"Juliet, can you please figure out what is in here first?" One of my ancestors asked as he looked at Juliet.
"I will, I will, I'll just send this first." Juliet replied then she sent the notification saying, Aside of that, I am in a situation right now, and I need all the focus on in here, okay? I'm really sorry :(
"Alright, I'm done. What is it all about?" Juliet asked as she turned to them.
"I'm afraid to say that your second life self i-is in danger." Another ancestor replied as she sighed.
"Wh-What? But, how?" Juliet worriedly asked.
"W-We aren't sure how, but you need to be careful as well as Heather. I suggest she needs to stay away from anyone at the moment until the battle is over." The man replied as he looked down.
"Heather is not in danger, she is super careful with everything especially with all these Magicias." Juliet said as she started raising her voice and a small smoke appeared from the door then it went to the ancestors' jewelries.
"Th-That's the thing Juliet, the enemies are—" The woman said then they slowly went to sleep.
"G-Grace? Anthony? A-Are you okay?" Juliet worriedly asked as she went closer to them.
"Of course they are Juliet, why wouldn't they be?" A woman said around us as I panted.
"N-No." I mumbled.
"Maria?" Juliet asked as she looked around.
"Correct, now sit still before I lose my patience on you." Maria replied as Juliet and I did my confused faces.
As Juliet stay still, a huge black smoke appeared from above then it went around Juliet.
"N-No! Heather!" Juliet shouted in her shaking voice.
"Juliet!' I shouted as I gasped then she slowly disappeared.
"I-I need to save her-" I nervously said.
"I apologize, but you can't Heather. Th-This is only a memory where Juliet has been last seen." Travis said through the speaker.
"So, what am I supposed to do? Just solve the freaking puzzle and won't save Juliet from the enemies?" I panickedly asked.
"Yes, but this puzzle will help us to find Juliet and bring her back." Travis replied as he sighed.
"Please tell me you know a little bit about my puzzle." I said.
"Apparently, I don't know what is really on the puzzle since the crystal ball creates the missions of the users and not us." He said then I sighed.
"Wait, there's a paper on his pocket. Maybe that could be a clue." I said as I walked towards Anthony then I grabbed the paper.
"This is a very large USA city. They said that the ES Building view is nice. Where the secret lover has stayed. They said it is the second romantic city after Paris." I read the paper then I did my confused face.
"This will surely be a long mission." I mumbled as I sighed.
JONATHAN'S POINT OF VIEW
As I arrived to the portal, I looked around and I found the old house, where I used to stay with my grandparents, infront of me. With no hesitation, I went inside and saw my past self with my grandparents.
"..But we would never know that one day I would leave this world behind, that's why I want you to be the holder of this, especially that you are older enough to handle this." Grandma Lauren said then I walked towards them.
"Are you sure this isn't one of your fantasy stories you tell us every night, Grandma?" My 7-year old self asked as he chuckled.
"Trust me my Grandson, I had gone through this from the past years." Lauren chuckled as she places her hand on my past self's shoulder.
"What about Grandpa Travis? Did he go through that also?" The grandson asked as he looked at Lauren.
"Your Grandpa haven't went through those Grandson, well, I did help your Grandma Lauren, but I didn't really focused all my attention to the Magicias after my love one's death." Travis said as and walked inside the room and they looked up at him.
"Is that the reason why you aren't married to someone unlike Grandma?" The grandson asked as Travis sat down beside him.
"Okay, that sounded rude, young Jonathan." I said as I chuckled.
"W-Well precisely my Grandson, because I never fall out of love for the love of my life. Besides, I promised myself that I will find a girl like her, one day." Travis said as he looked over my old self.
"This romance stuff makes me sick, why can't we just marry the person and we would live happily ever after?" The grandson asked as he frowned.
"How ironic for me to say this when I've been in too many relationships back then and none of them ever worked." I said as I scoffed.
"Love isn't that easy sweetie, it is like obstacles and once you finally find the right person, now that is when you get to marry the person you love. Just like my husband Edward, at first I rejected him for the other man I love, but I realized he is the one for me." Lauren said as she chuckled.
"I wish I could find the right person for me just like you, Grandma." I mumbled as I looked down.
Suddenly, I looked to my left as I heard distinct noises from the other room. I walked towards it and I found my 14 year-old self talking to the 14 year-old Heather.
"You seriously act like a feminine in that video Jonathan, you remind me of the gay men I watch in movies." 14 year-old Heather said as she laughed through the video call.
"Again with that gay topic, how many times I will tell you that I am straight, Heather?" My 14 year-old self asked as he scoffed.
"Look, I was just kidding, but just so you know, you fit with those feminine acts of yours." She replied as she laughed then a scenario appeared on the mirror and I walked towards it with my confused face.
"Are you sure? You know you can t-tell me the truth." Avior said as he looked at me.
"The other day." I mumbled.
"Beautiful eyes." My past self mumbled as he looked back at him.
"What?" He asked then my past self zoned out.
"I mean—I'm sure, don't worry about me. What we should worry about is how we get out of here." My past self replied as he sat next to him.
--
"Hey Avior?" My past self said then Avior turned at me.
"Thank you once again, I-I hope we c-could be friends." My past self continued as Avior smiled.
"Oh you don't have to worry about that because we are already friends, Zane." He said as he chuckled.
"Y-Yeah, friends." My past self said as he did a fake smile then he turned around and left.
"Maybe there was a reason why I haven't had better relationships with girls after all." I said as I sighed.
Denial, that's me this whole time.
