Chapter 2: Unexpected

As soon as the lift door opens there stands a series of heart warming welcomed thing, new and decorated building, good & clean surrounding, renovated building, high-class looking room, new warm and cozy bed, colourful bedsheets, thick & warm blankets, warm heaters, clean and huge cupboards, refrigerators, friendly people in neighbouring rooms with lively environment, shower in huge and clean bathroom, clean toilets with mirror in room, room of only 3 people with attached bathrooms to each room.

Omg unbelievable how wonderful it is! It's like entertaining in heavenly princess bedroom of their dreams…..hmmmm…experiencing these things closing their eyes….. No words can explain how great moment it is! Wow....!…..!….!

But soon as they open their eyes after hearing the beep sound, they see it's written '4 ' on the electrical board they realise they are still in lift with their luggage and they're 4 people in conjusted room of elevator, the door of elevator opens soon bringing them to the reality.

They see grey wall in front of them as the door opens, on which its written as number 4 there seems to be two ways across the wall. Right and left. This doesn't seem anything like normal. There is a broken table in front of wall.

The ways across the floor looks nothing less than a maze. No matter which way you take right or left you never know where will you end. You will never be able to end at your destination. When you look above your head, the no on the door clearly proves you that you are in-front of wrong room. After 4-5 rounds across the floor you stand in-front of right door that is- the correct room. Room no:24.

As soon as one enters the corridor getting out of the elevator one could already feel the eerie of the building, dim lights, dark & shadowy corridors, blinking lights -alternating between on and off, as one pass these and stand in-front of the room uncanny feeling hits your spine.

Broken door handles, broken locks, broken washroom door.... It one turn and see room...., they would be fighting with inner self for staying awake from fainting due to the eerieness in the surrounding…..

"Ahhhhhhhaaahhhhhhhhhh" Anne screamed her throat out as soon as she saw in the room when the door opened, there was fear, strange and frightening feeling on her face…she turned out pale looking dead….

"Vaaaahhhhhhhh" there was another loud scream along with Anne's, none other than Hana, the two who entered the room, scared the shit out of them.

As one could see it's getting dark outside like the sky is welcoming the spooky night. Even though it is early winters, it usually gets dark around 5:00pm-6:00pm in evening. The scene in the room was well matched with the spooky night, seen well from the large clear window of the room.

"What!…aahhh…there's a huge spider…crawling on my hands…ohhh" Hana yelped while shaking her hands wildly to get rid of spider.

The whole room was covered with dust and huge spider webs, some spiders crawling across the room marking as their territory, unwelcoming the guests, there lies a broken chair which had fallen upside down, and there lies broken mirror on broken table.

They are scanning the room with frightened eyes, during this Hana's legs are giving up maybe cause of the nervousness of seeing the horrific scene of the room or cause of the tiredness of long journey & waiting long hours for registration.

She sat down on nearest bunk bed, "Crrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeekkkkkkk.....", it's broken bed with greyish and dusty dark bedspread giving negative vibes.

"wh.....at.....?I…I…I do..don't know what in the…world is happening…here I am getting negative feeling in this room" Hana speaks stumbling while getting up from the bed.

Hana and Anne opens the cupboard together one of the door of cupboard is broken and another one doesn't have screws across the hinge.

Their room turned out to be like house which hasn't been used for ages. It's like horrifying haunted house. They have to clean and settle in room. Repairing things may take one or two weeks till the time they need to stay in this environment.

"Now thinking about it expectations are really different from reality".Anne speaks with eyes that lost the world. There is a tone of disappointment in her words.

"Reality hits harder..... No...it hits hardest....." Hana breaths out the air with disappointment that she was holding for this long.

"Now this is our room. Our world has changed from today, we are going to stay in this haunted room, in this dormitory till we finish our college ". Usss Anne shakes her head denying the negative vibes from her head.

"Hope we don't experience haunted nights".

"Hope so…".

A week later....after their settlement in dormitory….their classes are yet to be started as the admission procedures are not completed.

The food from the dining was not good as expected, and it was nat able to meet their taste as Asian they have strong taste for food and require spicy food where as food from dining is bland food, so they have opted for self cooking in dormitory kitchen.

Now they need is to go shopping for grocery and cooking items.

Hana is dressing up to go shopping. But what she doesn't know is her fate is going to change as soon as she enters the grocery shopping store.
