"Hollie, just tell me if you feel uncomfortable. I am right outside."
I insisted on taking a shower, so Henry had to wait for me outside the bathroom. He called me once every two minutes for fear that I would faint.
I slowly took a shower, wrapped myself in a towel perfunctorily, and put on my nightdress.
It was evident that I was up to no good by wearing such a nightgown. After Caleb and I broke up, Paisley gave it to me as a gift. I was going to make the best use of it.
As soon as I walked out of the bathroom, the look in Henry's eyes changed instantly.
He moved his Adam's apple up and down a few times. Then he turned around and picked up the thin blanket on the bed to cover me.
As I was about to wink at him flirtatiously, I was stunned on the spot.
"What are you doing?"
"I should be the one asking you this question." He lowered his head and refused to look at me, adding, "Hollie, you're drunk."
