She sighed.

" Sure, whatever you say Gramps. Good night, make sure to take your medication."

He replied with a hum and finally hung up.

A month passed by in the blink of an eye. During that time, she never bumped into Gao Yi.

Meanwhile, Lin Rouxue had already found a part-time job in a coffee shop and worked as a waiter.

She worked dutifully and diligently that all the customers were happy with her service. But surely enemies are bound d to meet on a narrow path.

Soon, the Class get-together anniversary banquet came. Lin Rouxue had made up her mind not to attend it as she was not interested in something like that.

Ma Xuiying tried to convince her to attend it.

"Xuexue I know you are not interested, can't you just go for me?"

"No way. Besides I don't want to be the third wheel between you and Quifan."

"Hey_"

Lib Rouxue rolled her eyes at her and said

"Stop trying to convince me... You know fully well that I have never attended any of the get-together anniversary banquets. And it won't change." She breathed in and continued" Besides, you know my reason why I'm not attending this year's own again."

Ma Xuiying pretended not to know and asked"why"

"Ugh. Xuiying am not coming and that's final." After saying that, she left the apartment and slammed the door hard.

Ma Xuiying pouted her pink lips at her outburst.

She hatched a plan in her mind as she made a call, the call was answered on the third ring and a deep mellow voice spoke

" Miss Ma?"

"Yes Brian it's me again"

The man chuckled at her remark.

"You're talking like you call me every day... So what's it this time?"

"I need a dress"

"Okay. what kind?"

"Something low key but with a touch of glamour and class"

"What kind of joke is this? Hahahaha... Young and famous Miss Ma wants to wear something low-key? So funny_" the man suddenly stopped laughing when he saw that she was not joking

"Ahem. Sorry for my sarcastic remark... Now back to what you said. Wheat is the occasion?"

"School get together banquet"

"Oh, that's okay. I think I have something that will suit your taste"

"Brian Wu!!!"

" Ohh sorry I forgot to ask. Who's it for?''

"Rouxue"

The man found the name familiar but he didn't dwell on it for long.

"Okay. I just need her measurements and we're good to go. Hold on when do you need it"

"Tonight"

The young man named Brian choked on his drink 'cough cough cough'

" TO... TONIGHT!!" He exclaimed

Ma Xuiying didn't even mind, She just said her goodbye while telling him to get it ready beforehand after which she hung up immediately.

Brian's lips twitched furiously.

"Brat"

At Lounge cafe.

Lin Rouxue took the order of the customers in front of her and left to get it. She didn't watch where she was going so she bumped into someone. and the person's purse fell to the floor

"Oh am so sorry_" she tried to apologize. When she saw the person whom she bumped into, she was shocked.

"Shi Lihua!"

The woman in front of her sneered. She was also surprised to see Lin Rouxue there.

At the time they were in Highschool, people in their class were aware that they had never been on good terms. Nobody knew why. They hated each other so much that Shi Lihua always used the fact about Lin Rouxue being an orphan to taunt her anytime they had a tiff.

Shi Lihua smirked and said.

"Oh, it's our campus belle. What are you doing here? Oh, you're working as a waiter... Hehe. At least you can have a chance to serve me before I leave."

Lin Rouxue was not ready to argue with her like in the past, she brushed past her and went to take the order for the other customers. Shi Lihua had always been treated like a princess. Growing up with her father, she had never received such treatment as she was used to people licking her boots. But the way Lin Rouxue had spoken to her, she gritted her teeth in anger.
