Chapter 5

After the summer holidays. The first day of Skylas last school year. Her uniform changed.

The jacket which was black before turned white with only black edges. Besides that everything else stayed the same.

Even the way she was. She didn’t got out of her numbness till now. Either way she would already have complaint about the new school uniform as she hates to wear white. And black was her favorite color. But she didn’t cared… anymore.

Else nothing changed. She still got into school with her head down. As she don’t wanna see anybody.

Even so there was a welcome ceremony as every year, Skyla just skipped it and got right into class.

Sitting down in the back of the class beside the window. She just looked outside. Took her headphones out and listened to some music.

The music helped her to shut down her thoughts. So she was just staring outside the window. Blankly for the next 30 Minutes.

Till then nobody entered the room, but then slowly the class got filled with her classmates. 10 Minutes later the Teacher came in.

“Good Morning class” the teacher smiled friendly.

“Good Morning Miss” the whole class responded.

“I wish everyone of you good luck for your last year of school. Hope you will get along with each other. So lets get started.” Just like that ,the Teacher started the lesson, till someone knocked on the door some minutes later.

The Teacher turned towards the door “Yes?”

The whole class looked towards the door, who got opened from the principal.

“My apologize Miss Smith, but i have to disturb your lesson for a moment.”

“Don’t worry Mr. Principal. What can i do for you?”

“Well actually you got a new student. I apologize, that he is late.”

The whole class started to rumor with each other

“A new student in the last year?”

“I hope its a boy”

“I hope its a girl”

“But why now? It’s the last year…”

The principal got angry and annoyed by the gossip and shouted “QUIET!”

Immediately the whole class got quiet.

“Great. Thank you” the principal smiled at the students friendly. “Well let me introduce you to your new classmate: Liam o’Connor”

A boy came into the classroom, wearing a mask and a hat, where only some strings of his white hair were to be seen.

As the principal looked towards Liam he got angry again “I already told you! Take that mask down!”

Liam rolled his eyes and took his Mask off “I got it old man, no need to shout”

Liam looked good, he had a masculine chin red shimmered brown sharp eyes and a little longer white hair. He was build well and seems to train in his free time.

All the girls were falling for him immediately, every girl wanted Liam to be hers. Except one girl. Skyla. She just looked outside the window fully disinterested.

“Be quiet! All of you!” The principal signed “As this is done i will take my leave now.” Turns to Liam “Behave Liam and don’t make trouble” Liam just ignored him, so the principal turned towards Miss Smith. “Sorry to have disturbed your lesson Miss Smith. Please go on.” Like that the principal left and closed the door behind him.

Miss Smith turned towards Liam. “Well Liam tell us something about you.”

“Well my Name is Liam. I’m 20 years old. That’s it. There is nothing more for you to know”

“Okay Liam, please sit down where you like. There are three seats not taken yet, just choose one.”

Every girl wanted Liam to sit beside her, so they quarreled with one and another.

“Liam, you can sit here”

“No, you should sit beside me.”

“no me”

And that went on, while Liam got annoyed by it. ‘So noisy.’ He looked around and searched for a seat. He soon spotted the free space beside Skyla so he walked up to her. “Can i sit here?”

Skyla looked confused at Liam ‘Why does he want to sit beside me? Either way it will only mean trouble for me’ so Skyla shakes her head as a no.

However Liam ignored her silent No and sits down beside her. “Thanks!”

All girls are now glaring at Skyla.

That lead for Skyla to shake slightly from the pressure she felt. Liam observed her ‘Why is she shaking?’ Liam tried to figure out why she was shaking so he looked around and saw the girls glaring at Skyla. ‘Seriously?! That’s why she is shaking?! How pathetic” Liam rolled his eyes and looked anyway.

Miss Smith started to teach again.

All where more or less paying attention to her. Besides Liam. He just got bored. But still, he stayed quiet while Miss Smith was teaching further.

Almost every lesson was going by like that till Lunch.

As the bell rings to Lunch, Skyla panicked and packed her things hurriedly ‘I have to be quick!’

Liam called out to her, as he found her behavior weird “What is your problem girl?!”

Skyla got startled and looked at Liam and smiled “N-Nothing! Bye.”

Just Like that Skyla run out of the classroom.

Left alone was Liam sitting on his seat looking after Skyla ‘What was that?! Ahh. Why bother?! I should go and find a silent place to relax.’

With Skyla, who was walking fast towards the rooftop.

She panicked in her mind and took two stairs with one step ‘Please let me reach before she gets here’ desperate she run further. Till someone called out to her. She stopped right at that instant.

“Hey! Good you stopped!”

Skyla was scared just by that voice ‘Fuck!’ She slowly turned around and looked at her Sister.

Cassandra just smiled at Blue and said “Hi Sis!”

With that Skyla started to tremble as she new her Sister was total angry at her. Only because she new that when Cassandra called her Sis, she really was pissed off.

Slowly Cassandra walked towards Skyla with an evil smile on her face. Stopping in front of Skyla “I heard you got a new classmate. And he sat down besides you immediately.”

Skyla just lowered her head and nodded.

“What did my Sis do to seduce him? I heard he is good looking. How can someone like that want to sit beside you?!”

Quietly Skyla was listening to her Sister. Unfortunately that made her only angry.

“Good if you don’t wanna talk then don’t” with that Cassandra punches Skyla in her stomach.

From the sudden punch Skyla gasped for air. And hold her stomach while bowing down a little.

Cassandra didn’t care and just pulled Skyla up by her hair

“I will ask again, what did you do? Answer me!”

Skyla struggled but still answered.

“I-I didn't d-do a thing. I do-don’t know why he sat down beside me. I even declined as he asked me if he could take the sit beside me. But he still sat down.”

As all could see Cassandra wasn’t satisfied with that answer, so she ordered some friends of herself “Hold her tight, she needs a lesson as it seems” She smirked darkly as her friends hold Skyla by her arms, so she can’t move.

With a satisfied expression Cassandra kicked Skyla in her stomach again and again…

No one stepped in an no one was even there to help Skyla.

So she just was hanging between the friends of her Sister while getting beaten by her.

“I dont believe what you said! So you better think before you speak next time! S.I.S!”

Skyla just stayed silent, that made Cassandra even more angry for some reason, so she got behind her, pulled Skyla up again by her hair and said.

“Let me tell you something. Who the hell do you even think you are?! That you could talk to me like that?!”

Suddenly she pushed Skyla down to the floor and stepped onto her Neck, till Skyla struggled to breath. Satisfied with that Cassandra and her friends left.

Letting Skyla left alone laying on the floor.

Her body didn't moved a muscle, till she hears some footsteps. Skyla quickly got up with the support of the wall and made her way up to the roof.

However as soon as she reached the roof, she broke down on her knees and bursted out into tears

“AAAAhhhhhhhh” she screamed loudly.

“Why me! It hurts! Are you hating me that much world?!” Skyla coughed. As she opened her eyes and looked down, she saw her blood. She had coughed blood… She just stared at it “Shit! But i guess its been a while since that happened”

For the next Minutes Skyla just sat there doing nothing, she calmed down a bit. But as she wanted to get up again, she didn't had the strength to do so.

So all she could do was dragging herself to the wall around the corner besides the door.

With a towel and water from her bag she wiped of the blood from her mouth.

As she finished, she laid down “I need some rest… Gladly i have nothing in the next lesson.” She closed her eyes and fell asleep.
