Sage regarded his son with a thoughtful gaze before posing his question, "What if I disapprove?"
Damian's response was measured yet resolute, "I would be disappointed, but I still plan on spending the rest of my life with Dorian."
Sage nodded, his expression remaining neutral.
Continuing, Damian's tone carried a hint of reflection, "I used to think the declarations of love from alphas were mere words, but now I know that they were real all along. Just the thought of Dorian being sad makes me ache, so I plan on spending the rest of my life making him happy. I want him to understand what he truly means to me, and I know he'll understand with that ring. I didn't ask for it when I was planning on proposing to Luna because she meant nothing to me and didn't deserve it, but Dorian does."
Sage inquired further, "When were you planning on proposing?"
"Friday after dinner. I wanted to plan a surprise for him in the garden," Damian revealed.
