98. Black Market crash

Smoke: Hey guys Smoke here. Just want to get some things out of the way. Zach and I noticed that there have been reviews of Lincoln having that mind control collar on him and going a rampage. To answer your question we're not doing that. We had Lincoln had under control by Mercer, Aroma, Irate and Phantom. I don't think we're doing that again. We're at our limit. Anyway onto the chapter.

It's a late night in Royal Woods, Mercer is in a rundown apartment building and reaches one of the doors that says 2A. "This must be his place?" He muttered to himself as he knocked on the door.

The door opens to reveal a man in his mid-20s with fair skin and spikey green hair wearing a flannel shirt and jeans. "Yeah." The man said.

"Are you Virus?" Mercer asked.

"Yeah." The man said simply. "You Mercer?"

"I am." Mercer replied.

"I take it Tetherby wants my services?" Virus asked.

"Indeed." Mercer said. "It's your turn."

"Yeah ok." Virus said before walking out the door and closing it behind him. "And your positive this will help me gain the attention of the Terror Crew?"

"I am most certain." Mercer replied. "With your ability of yours there's no way they can turn you down."

"Good." Virus said. "L-Crew won't know what them."

At school Luna was heading towards band practice with her guitar where she saw Sam waiting for her in the hall.

"Hey Moon!" Sam called.

"Hey Sun!" Luna called back. She speeds up and once she's close she hugs her. Once she pulls back she kisses her.

"Someone is affectionate today." Sam pointed out.

"I sure am. I get to jam with my favourite girl." said Luna.

"Well I'm glad you like it and so do I." Sam replied.

"Then let's get going!" Luna said before grabbing her hand and leading her to the band room.

"So how's Lana feeling?" Sam asked.

"She's all better. But It was difficult to keep my mom from seeing Lana's powers." Luna explained.

"No kidding. But I can relate when I got my powers it was hard to keep it secret from my family." said Sam.

"But at least she's better now." Luna said. "And I hope the little dudette learned her lesson."

"She probably did Lunes." Sam said. "Now come on. Let's jam."

Some time after band practice, Luna entered the base which she sees Mr. Cuddles tuning up the L-monster. "Hey Mr. Cuddles, working on the monster truck?" Luna asked.

"Yeah, just putting the finishing touches on this bad boy." said Mr. Cuddles.

"Adding anything rad?" Luna asked.

"Oh nothing special." Mr. Cuddles said simply before pressing a button which brought up a missile launcher. "Just this missile launcher!"

"Now that's what I call fire power!" Luna smirked.

"Exactly why Clyde said." Mr. Cuddles replied.

"Speaking of which, how's his suit coming along?" Luna asked causing Mr. Cuddles to sigh.

"It's harder than I thought." Mr. Cuddles said. "Mainly getting materials."

"True dude. It's not like you can get materials for an high tech suit anyway." Luna stated.

"Well Tony Stark built his first suit in a cave, but we're not making a mark 1 suit." Mr. Cuddles replied.

"I'm sure you'll figure it out dude." Luna assured. "And how's getting Ryker home going?"

"No progress." Mr. Cuddles admitted. "Teleporting didn't work and the hot tub time machine didn't work either. It just became a better hot tub and that we now set up in the corner." Luna looks over to see said hot tub in the back corner with Petty and Tongri in it. "Petty and Tongri like it though. And to add to my misfortune I forgot my username and password to my email and now I can't see if I have any new clients!"

"That's a bummer man." Luna said. "Why new clients? What's that about?"

"Well seeing that you kids don't pay me money for my lawyer skills, I decided to expand my brand and open myself to other clients." Mr. Cuddles said. "Currently working on getting a law firm opened up. But a bear has to make a living so I'm gonna be a lawyer to other meta humans."

"That's cool. Meta humans can really use a lawyer given their problems that they may cause in the future." Luna said.

"That's what I thought." Mr. Cuddles said. They then hear yelling outside. "Sounds like your team is here."

"And it sounds like an argument is happening." Luna said. She heads outside and sees Bobby looking exhausted while Lynn and Lincoln were locked in a shouting match.

"Why can't you mind your own business?" Lincoln was shouting.

"It was your own fault for being secretive!" Lynn shouted back.

"Maybe I was looking for something for someone's birthday!" Lincoln retorted.

"What are you two arguing about?" Luna asked with a serious look on her face with her arms on her hips.

"Trust me you're not going to like the answer." Bobby sighed.

"Lynn invaded my privacy!" Lincoln shouts.

"Only because you were acting so secretive on the computer!" Lynn said.

"So you had to steal my laptop from me just to find out something that wasn't any of your business?"

"Uh yeah!"

"We'll it wasn't any of your business!" Lincoln shouts.

"Dudes dudes chillax." Luna said. "Lincoln, what were you doing on your laptop?"

"Started looking for you guys's birthday gifts." Lincoln said. "Not falling behind like last year."

"You were looking for birthday gifts for us? That's so sweet little dude." Luna said and then she turned to Lynn. "Did you really had to take Lincoln's laptop?"

"I thought he was doing stuff online that he wasn't supposed to." Lynn defended. "Excuse me for being a concerning sister."

"First time for everything." Lincoln muttered.

"Care to repeat that?!" Lynn challenged.

"Sure. First time for everything!" Lincoln shouts.

"Dudes chill." Luna said before turning to Bobby. "Where's Luce?"

"She got detention, she was doing a séance with Haiku and the rest of her club in the bathroom and the school wasn't happy about it." said Bobby.

"Well that's just great." Luna groaned.

"Yeah so since everyone was busy I asked Lori if we could have the L-Angels help out." Lincoln said. "So they should be here soon."

"Good enough, we can really use them to help us out." said Luna. "They might be down one member, but still."

Soon the L-Angels minus Haiku rode in on their bikes. "Hey guys." Stella greeted.

"Sup dudettes." Luna greeted back. Soon Mr. Cuddles ran out pushed the girls's bikes into the back area.

"Borrowing these!" He said as he ran off.

"Dudes he stole our bikes." Tabby said.

"What gives Mr. Cuddles?!" Paige shouted.

"Can't talk. Busy with project!" Mr. Cuddles Replied.

"But you stole our bikes!" Sid shouted.

"You'll get them back in a little bit!" Mr. Cuddles shouted back.

"We'll see about that after patrol." said Luna.

"As long I'm not partnered with Lynn I'm good." Lincoln said with his arms crossed.

"Actually I am putting you two together." Luna said.

"WHAT!?" The two say in unison.

"ALERT! ALERT! HACKER DETECTED!" Martha said.

"What the?" Paige said before everyone ran inside to see Mr. Cuddles frantically typing on the computer.

"Martha talk to me!" Mr. Cuddles was saying. Soothsayer then walks over to join them.

"It seems we have a problem." Soothsayer said.

"Yeah someone's hacking into our mainframe and it's not me this time." Mr. Cuddles said.

"Maybe it's that jacket that Lincoln and Lynn stopped in Great Lakes City?" Sid guessed.

"Nah, I doubt he would last a day in prison. Probably someone else." said Lynn.

Suddenly a voice comes from the computer but it wasn't Martha's. "Some nice tech you got here L-Crew." The voice said. "Almost couldn't get passed the firewall."

"That's not Martha." Tabby said.

"No I am not Martha. I am Virus, and I'm here to kill the L-Crew." said Virus.

"So you want to kill us how original." Lynn said sarcastically.

"My way of doing it is." Virus said. "The thing is, I have all your files. Secret identities, family members, base location. Everything that you had uploaded i now possess."

"And how does that kill us exactly?" Lincoln asked.

"Quite simple: I sell these too the right people and soon you'll be swarmed by criminals all over the city. Metas, nonmetas you name it they'll be here." Virus said. "Long story short, you're time is running out."

"If he gets that info on the Black Market our families and friends will be in danger." Bobby said.

"Then we need to stop him now." Luna said.

"I'd like to see you try!" Virus said. "See you!"

"Wait! Before you go, can open up my email?" Mr. Cuddles asked. "I can't get in."

"Oh yeah sure." Virus said. "Just one second." A moment later, Mr. Cuddles's email appeared. "There you go. I'm also printing your username and password too."

"Ok thanks." said Mr. Cuddles as he sees the paper being printed. "Now that I have my username and password back, we're going stop you!"

"Enjoy your freedom while you can L-Crew, when this goes up on the Black Market you, your families and friends are going to meet some bad people." Virus said.

After a few seconds the L-Crew and L-Angels look at each other. "Is he gone?" Sid asked.

"I think so." Mr. Cuddles answers. "Wow six new possible clients. Nice."

"I believe we have bigger things to worry about." Soothsayer pointed out. "This situation is worse than we think because I've heard that the Terror Crew now run the Black Market."

"Oh man. This is not good, if they find out the L-Crew are, Our lives will be a living hell." said Lincoln.

"Do you guys have like a Knightfall protocol or something like in Arkham Knight?" Paige asked.

"No we don't. But we can stop Virus in his tracks." Luna said.

"How?" Sid asked. "Sounds like he's literally in the computer so how do we get him?"

"Simple. I'm going in." Luna replied. "When we were training, I learned how go into technology. That being said, I should be able to go into the internet and go after Virus. Meanwhile you dudes will figure out where the Terror Crew have their Black Market deals and make sure they can't receive the info."

"You got it." Bobby said.

"Oh and make sure Lincoln and Lynn don't blow the mission." Luna said as she pressed a button on her watch and becomes Amplifier.

"I can handle that." Bobby said before pressing his own watch to become Armor.

"Ok good. You guys split up and find the Black Market so you can cover more ground." said Amplifier. "Good dudes and dudettes." Amplifier placed her hands on the computer panel and breaths in. She zaps herself into the computer which amazed everyone even Soothsayer.

"Whoa that was awesome!" Tabby shouted.

"Mora taught her well." Soothsayer said. "But now we must focus on the task at hand."

"Right but before you guys go, here are your bikes back." Mr. Cuddles said. "Press the red buttons." The L-Angels do as they're told and press the buttons. As soon as they pressed them their bikes began to change. After a few seconds their bikes became speeder bikes.

"WHOA!" Everyone shouted in unison.

"So that's why you took our bikes." Tabby said.

"Yeah I gave them an upgrade." said Mr. Cuddles said. "Usually I allow you to do a test drive, but looking for the Black Market will be your test drive."

"Awesome!" Sid squealed as she looked at the bike.

"This is awesome!" Paige exclaimed.

"I'll do Haiku's another time." Mr. Cuddles said. "For now go find the Black Market!"

"You got it. Let's suit up." Stella said as she and the rest of the L-Angels pressed a button on their watches and they become the L-Angels, Lincoln and Lynn pressed a button on their watches too and become Firecracker and Parkour.

"Alright guys let's crash the Black Market." Armor said.

"That was a bad joke." Firecracker said.

"Better then anything you'd come up with." Parkour muttered.

"Care to repeat that?" Firecracker growled before the two got in each other's face.

"So where do we even look?" Gamer asked. "Isn't like criminals will talk to us."

"Maybe we don't have to talk to them." Sharpshot said.

"What are you getting at?" Sid asked.

"We can use a tracking device and use it to track them." Sharpshot suggested.

"Right." Firecracker said. "Let's try that and hope no Terror Crew are there."

Amplifier looked around the net and sees that she's inside the computer. "Rocking." Amplifier said. "I thought I would never get a chance to use this ability and I nailed it on the first try. Now to take down virus."

"Luna? Luna can you hear me?"

"Mr. Cuddles?" Amplifier said. "Yeah dude. I hear ya."

"Ok good." Mr. Cuddles said. "Alright so bad news is Virus has a good lead on you but that doesn't mean you won't be able to catch up. Virus should've left a data trail of sorts when he left so you should be able to use that to chase him down."

"Sounds good dude." Amplifier said. She looks around and sees the data trail. "Let's rock!"

Amplifier began to follow the data trail. "Ok Luna, you have one chance to protect your friends and family from finding out your Identity. I just hope the others find the black market in time." Amplifier said.

Back in Royal Woods, the L-Crew and L-Angels were standing outside an old building. They had seen a van driving around suspiciously so Sharpshot shot a tracking arrow at it to put a tracker on it. After some driving, they found the van in front of the building.

"Man these bikes handle like a dream." Beast said.

"Tell me about it." Gamer agreed. "Felt like a video game."

"Alright we'll sneak in and see what's going on inside." Sharpshot said. She shot a grapple up to a window and the four girls quickly climb up and head inside. Once inside they hear cries of pain and quietly head towards the sound.

"C'mon lad!" The four heard a voice say. "Where's that bravado from earlier?"

"Is that?" Cherry Bomb whispered.

"It can't be." Sharpshot whispered. They peer down and see a man wearing a short sleeved dress shirt with slacks and dress shoes. He had bright orange hair that was combed over and a orange goatee.

"It's Phantom!" Beast gasped. "What's he doing here?"

"He's not alone either." Gamer said. "Look." She points to a nearby crate wear they see a man fair skin, curly red, wearing a crimson red suit jacket over a light purple buttoned shirt, a tan brown bow tie, brown pants, blacks shoes, and in his hands is a red and white stripped cane. "That's Candyman of the Terror Crew!" She also sees a nine year old girl with blonde hair that was under a black beanie wearing a purple sweatshirt over a black shirt and wore ripped jeans.

"Who's the kid?" Beast asked.

"No clue." Sharpshot answered. "But we'll about that later. Right now let's find out what's going on." They continued to watch as Phantom beat up the man with his bare hands while Candyman and the girl watched.

"You lads disappoint me." Phantom said. "We come here to collect our money but you give us a half empty bag? Do you think we're daft?"

"No Mr. Phantom sir." The man cried as Phantom pressed his foot on his ribs.

"Oh Phantom do hit him again!" Candyman called out gleefully.

"With pleasure." Phantom said before turning to the girl. "Zoya, I hope you're taking notes lass. Sometimes you gotta make an example of someone after they try to pull the wool over your eyes. So you gotta beat the loyalty into them."

"Beat loyalty into them." Zoya repeated as she wrote it down in her notepad. "Got it."

"She's a student of the Terror Crew." Sharpshot said. "But is she a Metahuman or normal human?"

"Who knows?" Beast shrugged.

"Zoya I suggest you really pay attention to what Phantom has to teach you." Candyman said. "He is a master of this craft which is one of the reasons we recruited him."

"Oh I'm paying attention." Zoya said.

"Now lass, if someone continues to try to play you for a fool, how should you react?" Phantom asked.

"Force them to learn their lesson?" Zoya guessed.

"Very good lass." Phantom said.

"She's learning a lot from these two." Gamer said.

"I learned my lesson!" The man cried out as he coughed up blood.

"You sure mate?" Phantom asked.

"Yes!" The man cried.

"Zoya, what do we do when a subordinate claims that he's learned his lesson?" Candyman asks. Zoya thinks about before looking at her notes.

"Um, make an example of them?" Zoya guessed.

"Very good." Candyman said. "Mr. Phantom if you would."

Phantom nods as he walks up to the man and snaps the man's neck, and drops the body to the ground. "Everyone got that?!"

"Holy crap." Gamer gulped.

"Quiet girls." Sharpshot shushed the girls.

"Zoya I hope you were paying attention lass." Phantom said. "Remember, they work for you not the other way around."

"Right." Zoya said as she wrote in her notebook not the least bit bothered about witnessing a man die. "I hope I can be just as forceful as you are uncle Phantom."

"Uncle Phantom?" Phantom repeated. "Love the sound of that."

"Damn this isn't good." Cherry Bomb whispered. She then activates her watch. "Hey mates we got a few issues. For starters Candyman is here."

"That's not good." Parkour said.

"Not only that, Phantom is here too." Beast added. "And from the way he and Candyman are interacting it looks like Phantom is a member of the Terror Crew."

"That's also bad." Firecracker said. "Phantom isn't no pushover. I had heard he escaped and that the Godfather was murdered but didn't think they were connected."

"And they seem to have a student of sorts with them." Sharpshot added. "A nine year old."

"Stay put, do not attack until we arrive at your location." said Armor.

"You got it. We won't engage the enemy." Gamer said.

"But if they notice you, defend yourselves." Firecracker said.

"Will do." Sharpshot said before hanging up. "Guys I don't like this."

"Me neither." Gamer said. "But I think I have an idea. Let's find their laptop. If I've learned anything about black markets in video games is that some of their stuff they sell they get off the web. So if we get a hold of the laptop."

"We can intercept Virus." Beast finished.

"Bingo." Gamer said.

"I see it. It's over there next to that huge crate." Cherry Bomb said as she pointed to the laptop far from the three Terror crew members and next to a huge crate.

"Ok I have an idea. I'll connect you to a rope and we're lower you down to the laptop." Sharpshot said. "Wait you do any of you girls know how to hack?"

"Gamer hacked into security at the museum." Beast said.

"Works for me." Sharpshot said.

"Wait what?" Gamer said. Moments later, Gamer found herself at the end of a rope being lowered down. "I hate you all."

"Just get the laptop." Sharpshot ordered. Back with the Terror Crew and their dealers, Zoya was looking over her notes when out of the corner of her eye she saw someone being lowered down to the laptop. Going back to her notes for assistance on what to do but found nothing. She immediately walks up to Candyman and tugs on his suit.

"Yes my dear." Candyman said.

"Hey what do you do when someone sneaks into your hideout to steal your laptop filled with information on your black market deals?" Zoya asked.

"Oh that's an easy one." Candyman said. "You go up to them and beat the unholy hell out of them." There's a pause. "Someone snuck in and is trying to steal our laptop aren't they?"

"Yep." Zoya replied.

Back with the L-Angels, Gamer almost had her hands on the laptop. "Almost got it." She whispered. However she's suddenly turned around and is face to face with Candyman. "Uh oh."

"Hello there my dear." Candyman said before grabbing the laptop. "I'll be taking this thank you. And as for you, you'll make a good piñata."

"Well that's just great." Beast groaned.

"What's going on here?" Phantom asked as he walked towards Candyman.

"We have a little intruder." Candyman said pointing at Gamer hanging from the rope. "It's a good thing Zoya found our little thief."

"Wait I know that girl. She's not alone!" Phantom exclaimed but then an arrow is shot at his arm and it was a flashbang arrow, blinding Candyman, Phantom and Zoya.

"Go go GO!" Sharpshot ordered as they quickly pulled up Gamer before running off.

"Open fire!" Candyman ordered.

The other men aimed their rifles at the L-Angels ran away. "I seen better aim from Stormtroopers!" Gamer shouted.

"Don't taunt them!" Cherry Bomb shouted.

"Then next time you guys grab the laptop!" Gamer shouted back.

Phantom recovers from the flashbang and sees the girls trying to escape. He quickly climbs up towards them and cuts them off.

"You lasses ain't going nowhere!" Phantom shouted. Before the Angels could react, Phantom lunges forward and kicks Beast off their platform before doing the same to Gamer. He then grabs Sharpshot and Cherry Bomb and throws them off before landing next to them. Suddenly the door blast open to reveal Firecracker, Parkour and Armor.

"Sorry we're late." Parkour said. "Mind if we join?"

"The L-Crew!" Phantom exclaimed.

"Miss me Phantom?" Firecracker smirked as he ignited his fists.

"Kill him!" Phantom commanded the armed men to which they aimed their rifles at Firecracker. Firecracker snapped his fingers and the rifles explode into their hands.

"Damn it." Candyman growled. "Men kill the girls. Leave the L-Crew to us. Zoya you do whatever." Zoya shrugs.

"You lads and lasses will pay for this." Phantom growled.

"Let's Amplifier is ok." Firecracker said before rushing forward.

Amplifier continued to follow the data stream to find Virus. "Where the hell are you Virus?" Amplifier muttered. Then she looks ahead and sees a figure up right in front of her. "There you are!"

She speeds up and begins to catch up to him. Sensing someone behind him, Virus looks behind him and sees Amplifier.

"So you followed me huh?" Virus said. "Great. Just what I needed."

"I'm here to stop you from exposing my team's secrets!" Amplifier said. "Now hand over the information or else I'll take it by force."

"Um no." Virus said.

"Wow you're a real blunt dude ain't ya?" Amplifier said.

"Yeah but if you don't like it to bad." Virus said. "You ain't getting your secrets back."

"Alright the hard way it is." Amplifier said as she lunges towards Virus and begins to punch him.

Virus catches her fist and throws Amplifier into the data stream. Amplifier stops herself only to get by a right hand stunning her.

"Ugh!" Amplifier groaned.

"I spend my whole life on the web. Exposing everyone's secrets online, nothing serious or anything. But revealing the L-Crew's secrets will put me on the map." Virus explained.

"And let me guess, help you get noticed by big criminal organizations right?" Amplifier growled.

"There's only one organization that matters right now and that's the Terror Crew!" Virus said. "If all goes well I'll be one of them."

"That dream will be dead and gone when I'm through with you." Amplifier said.

"Quit stalling. The end of the L-Crew is near." Virus replied.

"Not gonna happen." Amplifier said. "As long as I'm around the L-Crew will never die!"

"You heroes are so self-righteous." Virus groaned. "Which is why we need less of you."

Amplifier flew towards Virus and punched him in the face. Virus recovered from the attack and punches Amplifier in the chest, then elbows her in the face.

The two then go into the data stream trying to hit each other. The two begin to just ram into each with Virus gaining an upper hand. Amplifier growled and elbows him in the face. She's about to fire an electric blast but a voice stops her.

"Amplifier can you hear me?"

"Mr. Cuddles?" Amplifier questions.

"Ok good you can still hear me." Mr. Cuddles said. "Listen don't fire your electricity while in the internet. There's no telling what could happen if electricity is fired while you're in there. It could cause a massive surge and both you and Virus would be done for."

"Damn it. Looks like I'm gonna have to rely on my fists for this fight." Amplifier said.

"It's probably for the best." Mr. Cuddles said. "You better hurry or else you're dead meat."

"Right!" Amplifier said. She rushed towards him and hits with a diving kick. As he falls backwards she flies forward and hits a double foot stomp on his chest sending him downwards through the data stream.

Amplifier flew towards Virus, but Virus flew up from the data stream and punches Amplifier causing to fly back. Amplifier recovered from the attack and tackles Virus and elbows him in the face.

"This information is gonna get innocent people killed!" Amplifier shouted.

"Yeah and?" Virus said. Amplifier growled and starts punching him repeatedly.

"I won't let you get innocent people hurt!" Amplifier shouted.

"You heroes and your damn speeches." Virus groaned. "God you're annoying."

"Speech this!" Amplifier shouted as she punched Virus in the face.

A/N: 20 bonus points if you got that reference.

Virus recovered from the attack and gives Amplifier a roundhouse kick to the chest, Amplifier then gives Virus three kicks to the gut and axe handles him to the face.

They continue this exchange throughout the data stream before Virus gains the upper hand and elbows Amplifier in the face sending her falling back.

"You heroes think that you're on top of the world." Virus said. "That you're untouchable. I'm here to remind you that you aren't. And once this info gets on the Black Market, reality will sink in and you'll realize that you're not invincible. That heroes will be thrown off their pedestals."

"Not today or never!" Amplifier shouted as she flew upwards at full speed.

Virus flies down to meet her and the two clash with the two trying to gain the upper hand over each other. They push off each other before rushing towards each other again. However this time Amplifier moves out of the way of Virus before kicking him in the back.

"You're only slowing down the inevitable." Virus told her. "Just give up."

"No way in hell dude!" Amplifier said as she recovered and knees Virus in the back.

"I've had enough of you having the last word." Virus said.

"Then do something about it." Amplifier challenged.

"Suit yourself." Virus said.

Amplifier looked around and sees that her surroundings are turning red. Then some red data grabs Amplifier by the leg and tosses her around and smashes her on the data stream.

"You will be the first person in history to be deleted online." Virus said. "Don't worry I'll show some people what will happen to you."

"Damn it." Amplifier growled. "He's a lot more powerful than I thought. But I have to defeat him before we reach the online Black Market."

"The end is near for both you and the L-Crew!" Virus said. "The age of heroes is over!"

"It'll never be over!" Amplifier shouts. "If I discharge a small amount of electricity the internet shouldn't crash. I hope."

Amplifier forms an electric ball that's half the size of her normal one and threw it towards Virus.

The ball hits Virus causing the data tendrils to release Amplifier allowing her to charge at Virus and kick him in the face knocking him back.

"Damn you." Virus growled. "You'll pay for that."

"He doesn't really shout much does he?" Amplifier said to herself. "But I'm not getting anywhere with this. I can't use my powers to their full extent while he can. But another thing is how would we get out of here? I got in here through a computer that was on. Did he get in the same way? If so how would we get out? The same way maybe?"

"You're wasting your time." Virus said. "We're almost to the Black Market website. Once there you're finished."

"He's not wrong." Amplifier admitted. "Wait if we head to the Black Market website, that means there could be an exit there. If I can get him through the exit before he can put our info on the web, we'd be good!"

"Any last words before your life is over?" Virus asked.

"I do actually." Amplifier said as she dashed towards Virus and trapped him a full Nelson. "Full Nelson."

"What the hell?" Virus exclaimed as he tried to fight out of the Full Nelson. "Get off me!"

"Nope!" Amplifier said. "Mr. Cuddles can you hear me?"

"Loud and clear!" Mr. Cuddles responded.

"Good. Tell the others to open up the laptop and to be quick about it!" Amplifier ordered.

"On it!" Mr. Cuddles said.

Back at the Black Market building, the L-Crew were still battling it out with the Terror Crew with Armor fighting Phantom while Parkour and Firecracker fought Candyman with the thugs trying to fight the L-Angels. As the girls fought off the thugs their watches went off.

"Sup." Sharpshot answered as she fired her boxing glove arrow at a thug.

"Girls you gotta get the laptop and open it so Amplifier and Virus can get out into the real world." Mr. Cuddles said.

"On it." Sharpshot said. "Gamer can you see the laptop!?" Gamer who was on some crates shooting her blasters looked around the area for the laptop before seeing it being held by Zoya.

"That girl has the laptop dead ahead." said Gamer.

"Ok good. You and Beast try and take it from her!" Sharpshot said as she fired another arrow at another thug.

"I don't know how I feel about taking something from a nine year old." Beast said as slashed a thug with her claws.

"She's learning from villians just do it." Cherry Bomb told her as she hit a thug with her axe.

"Fine." Besst groaned. Gamer jumps off the crate and she and Beast run towards Zoya. Once they're close they stop. "Hi can you please hand us that laptop?" Zoya looks at them then at laptop then at them again.

"Yeah not happening." Zoya said.

"Ok we'll take it by force than." Gamer said.

"I'm not gonna let my uncles lose this laptop!" Zoya exclaimed.

"They're your uncles?" Beast questioned as she and Gamer exchanged a confused glance. However while they weren't looking, Zoya went metal which only covered her arms and legs.

"Damn it." Zoya muttered. "Still can't do it." Gamer and Beast look back to see that Zoya's arms and legs were steel.

"Well that's new." said Beast with a shocked look on her face. But then Zoya punches Beast in the chest causing her to fly towards a crate and hits it on impact.

Gamer aimed her blasters at Zoya. "Crap if I shoot the laptop there goes Amplifier's exit." said Gamer.

"Wow you're a wimp." Zoya said as she twirled the laptop on her finger. "I can see why my uncles don't like heroes. You guys are such goodietwoshoes."

"Did they brainwash her?" Gamer wondered. "There's no way a kid would willingly join a team of supervillians."

"Well what uncle Squatch always says, heroes are the best punching bags." Zoya said. She then punches Gamer in the jaw sending her flying into a wall.

"She punches hard for a nine year old." Gamer said.

"If you want this laptop you gotta pry it from my cold steel hands." Zoya said. Gamer and Beast stand up and glare at the nine year old.

"Look if she is brainwashed, let's not hurt her too bad." Beast said.

"Right." Gamer said as she readied her blasters. The two then charged forward.

Nearby Armor was struggling against Phantom who was overwhelming him with hard punches and kicks.

"You think that armor is gonna help ya lad?" Phantom mocked. "Sure doesn't look like it."

"I'm sure of it." Armor replied as formed his right fist into a hammer and blocks off Phantom's punch.

Phantoms groans in pain as he grabs his right hand, then Armor hits Phantom with his literal hammer fist and started returning the blows. "Not so tough now are you?!" Armor should.

Phantom drops to his knees let's out a low growl before a smirk forms on his face. "Come now lad, what kind of man are you?" Phantom taunted. "Look me in the eyes when I'm talking to ya."

"Fine." Armor growled when Phantom suddenly stands up and looks Armor in the eyes. Phantom eyes flash and he becomes an Astral projection before going into Armor's body. Armor twitches a little before straightening out.

"This body ain't bad lad." Phantom said with Armor's voice that had a slight Irish accent.

"That's bad." Sharpshot said before activating her watch. "Soothsayer we need Petty ASAP!"

"Sending him over right." Soothsayer said on the watch. Then within a puff of smoke Petty appears from the smoke.

"Where Petty is?" Petty asked.

"Petty! Phantom has taken over Armor you have to stop him!" Sharpshot said as she fired another arrow at a thug.

"Phantom in Petty's friend!" Petty exclaimed before turning to Phantom. "Get out of Petty's friend!"

"Make me you pink dummy!" Phantom challenged only to get hit by a hard right by Petty sending him flying. Meanwhile Parkour and Firecracker were fighting against Candyman but were struggling because they were arguing.

"Get out of my way Parkour!" Firecracker shouted.

"I'm not in your way you're in mine!" Parkour retorted.

"No you are!" Firecracker growled.

"You two seem sour at each other." Candyman pointed out.

"Stay out of it!" Firecracker and Parkour shouted.

"Perhaps you need an outside opinion." Candyman suggests. "How about you tell me what's making you so sour and I'll give you my opinion." Parkour and Firecracker exchange a glance before sighing.

"Fine." They say in unison.

"Excellent. Parkour, ladies first." Candyman said.

"Ok fine. Firecracker has being secretive with his laptop and he's not even telling us. So I had to take it from him." Parkour said.

"Can explain my side of the story now?" Firecracker said.

"Don't interrupt Firecracker. Anything else Parkour?" Candyman asked.

"Yeah. I suspicious because of how secretive he was being so I was making sure he wasn't doing anything he shouldn't have been doing." Parkour said.

"I see." Candyman said. "Firecracker your turn."

"I was being secretive on my laptop because I was doing early birthday shopping for my sisters." Firecracker defended. "And when Parkour walked in I was working on her gift then all of sudden she just yanks the laptop out of my hands!"

"I was worried!" Parkour shouted.

"Children children calm yourselves." Candyman said. "Parkour I hate to admit but Firecracker is in the right on this one."

"What?! Parkour exclaimed.

"Thank you!" Firecracker said. "Maybe next time you'll learn not to take things from others." Firecracker said as he glared at Parkour.

"Parkour you invaded his privacy after he said not too." Candyman said. "You should've respected his wishes. Don't be like me, a man who shot his brother just because we couldn't get along."

"Do you regret it?" Parkour asked.

"Oh hell no!" Candyman said. "I had wanted to do it for years! I'm glad I shot him dead!"

"You're a messed up a man Candyman." said Firecracker.

"Thank you." Candyman replied. "But you two shouldn't be mad at each other. I suggest you two make up and put this behind you."

"I guess he's right in a weird twisted way." Parkour said. "I'm sorry bro. I was just worried."

"It's ok." Firecracker said. "I'm sorry for overreacting." The two hug while Candyman watched on.

"That's so sweet." Candyman said as he wiped a tear from his eye. "Alright enough of that." He pulls out a candy bar and eats it. Seconds later he buffed up. "Now back to business."

"Damn it. We need to get that laptop!" Firecracker said.

"Get the laptop I'll deal with Candyman!" Parkour said.

"You got it!" Firecracker nodded and flew off as Parkour cracked her knuckles.

"While I do appreciate you helping out with our family drama, I'm still gonna kick your ass."

"Bring it on my dear." Candyman said as he pressed a button on his cane turning it into a hammer.

Parkour charged towards Candyman right when he swings his hammer at Parkour, but she dodged the hammer strike and punches Candyman in the arm and again in the chest. Candyman recovered from the attack and striked Parkour with his hammer.

Firecracker flies over to where Gamer and Beast were fighting Zoya and sees the nine year old protecting the laptop. With a glare he flies towards the fight and swipes the laptop from Zoya's hands.

"I'll be taking this!" Firecracker said.

"Hey!" Zoya shouted. "Uncle Candyman he got the laptop!"

Candyman pushes Parkour off of him and he he glared. "So now he has become The laptop stealer huh." Candyman Said.

"Sharpshot I'm going to need a hacking arrow this thing might be password protected." Firecracker stated.

"On it!" Sharpshot shouted. She pulls out her hacker arrow and fires it towards Firecracker who catches it.

"No! Phantom he's gonna access the laptop!" Candyman shouted. Phantom looks up from where he's fighting Petty.

"Damn it!" Phantom said before avoiding a punch from Petty. Firecracker plugs in the arrow and gains access. He then points the laptop away from him and seconds later, Amplifier and Virus come out and land on the ground with a USB drive falling out of Virus's pocket which is picked up by Cherry Bomb.

"Damn it." Virus growled.

"Nice work bro." Amplifier said. "Couldn't hold that Full Nelson for much longer."

"Did they come out of the computer?" Candyman asked.

"It looked like it lad." Phantom said.

"Now that we're out of the web." Amplifier said electricity crackled in her hands. "Let's have some fun."

"Phantom has possessed Armor, just thought I let you know!" Cherry Bomb shouted.

"Wait what?" Amplifier said.

"Hi mama." Petty said.

"Petty why are you here?" Amplifier asked.

"Me don't know." Petty replies.

"It's more a back up problem." Sharpshot said as she shot an arrow at a another thug. "He was teleported here!"

"Gotcha." Amplifier said.

"Damn it. Damn it." Virus growled. "Everything was going perfectly and you heroes ruined it."

"Sorry dude but you're done." Amplifier said. "You got nothing now in the real world." However she was shocked when he looked up at her with a crazy look in his eye.

"That's what you think." Virus said. Suddenly multiple data rings appear on his arms. "I'm never done as long as you heroes are still breathing."

"Well this is new." Amplifier said.

"I will delete every single hero, meta or human!" Virus shouted.

"I like this one." Candyman said.

"You ain't the only one lad." Phantom said before uppercutting Petty.

"Now let me show you my true power." said Amplifier.

"How about you shut up!" Virus shouted as the two charged at each other and clashed.

The two throw right hands and their fists clash. Virus fires his data rings at Amplifier who teleports away to avoid them before appearing behind him and trying to kick him in the back but Virus uses his data rings to pull himself away.

Amplifier threw two lightning rods at Virus, but he dodged the attack. Amplifier teleported behind Virus to attack him, but he kicks Amplifier in the chest. Amplifier recovered from the attack and formed two electric balls and throws them towards Virus.

The electric balls hit him and launched him back backwards. Nearby Parkour and Firecracker were both fighting Candyman. Firecracker threw several fireballs at him which Candyman blocked with his hammer. Parkour goes for a superman punch but get hit by Candyman's hammer.

Firecracker flew towards Candyman with full flame, but Candyman turns his cane into a fire extinguisher and puts out Firecracker's flames and gives him a punch in the face. "That stuff better wear off right about now." Parkour muttered under her breath.

Phantom throws a right hand at Petty who catches the fist before punching Phantom into the ground.

"Not bad lad." Phantom said from next to Petty. Petty looks surprised before looking down to see Armor groaning in pain.

"Oops." Petty said.

"Why?" Armor groaned.

"Ghost man control you." Petty said.

"Not a bright lad are you?" Phantom asked. Phantom lunges forward and stands on his hands and kicks both Armor and Petty in the face.

"Damn it!" Armor groaned in pain. But Petty recovered from the attack and gives Phantom a back hand smack and elbows him in the face.

"This isn't looking too good lad." Phantom groaned as he avoided another strike from Petty.

"Agreed but this new person is quite intriguing." Candyman said.

Virus throws two data rings at Amplifier, but she dodged the rings, as Amplifier shoots two lightning rods from her hands. Virus dodged the first one, but he gets hit by the second one and falls to the ground.

"Damn you." Virus growled. "Damn you. You heroes always ruin everything. The plan was perfect and you ruined it."

"Man you act like a whiny little brat." Amplifier said.

"Yeah, I mean Wildgirl and Crystal Princess whine less than you." said Firecracker. "And they're only 6."

"You heroes are the brats." Virus growled. "You always think you're above everyone just because nobody can knock you down a peg. That's why I did this. To knock you off your pedestals and then get what I want."

"And I assume it's a membership to the Terror Crew." Virus turns and sees Candyman facing him. "You have impressed today and I say welcome to the family. Wouldn't you agree Phantom?"

"I say welcome to the Terror Crew laddie." said Phantom.

"So I'm in the Terror Crew?" Virus asked as Candyman and Phantom nodded. "Alright! I'm in!"

"It seems that this place is compromised." Candyman said. "Zoya it's time to make our leave." Zoya looks up from where she was fighting Gamer and Beast and sighs.

"Fine." Zoya said before walking up to her two uncles and Virus.

"Smoke bomb!" Candyman shouted before firing a smoke bomb out of his can which exploded creating a wall of smoke.

Beast lunges towards the smoke cloud but when she attacked Virus, Phantom, Candyman and Zoya are gone. "Damn it. They got away!" Beast groaned.

"That's one more member for the Terror Crew, an hero hating metahuman." Parkour said.

"At least we made sure they didn't get our info." Amplifier said holding up the flash drive. "And we no doubt did some damage to their Black Market business for the time being. So I say this is a win dudes."

"Amplifier I'm worried about that one kid that was with them." Cherry Bomb said.

"The kid?" Amplifier questions. "Oh the one called Zoya right?" Cherry Bomb nods.

"Yeah." Cherry Bomb said. "I mean there's no way she'd work for the Terror Crew willingly right so they had to have brainwashed her."

"It could be a possibility or they could have kidnapped her off the streets and force her to work with them." Amplifier said.

"The next time we see her, we'll free her from being brainwashed." Firecracker suggested.

"Agreed." Amplifier said. "But for now let's head home. I gotta report this stuff to Lori."

Luna is in Lori and Leni's explaining your Lori about the events that happened today. "So our secret identities almost ended up on the Black Market, the Terror Crew has a new member and they have a kid joining them. Well that's just great." Lori groaned.

"Yeah dude but we're not entirely sure about the girl though." Luna admitted. "While she seemed completely into it I'm not sure if she willingly joined them."

"So what are you thinking?" Lori asked.

"I think we should save her dude." Luna said. "They probably brainwashed her so we should try to free her from there control."

"Ok if you're certain about this we'll attempt to save her." Lori said. "Anyways how do you feel about doing another mission tonight?"

"What's up?" Luna asked.

"Word on the street is the Terror Crew are preparing to transport their goods so we need to make sure it never leaves the preparation area at the shipping yard." Lori said. "It's just gonna be the eleven of us. You in? Everyone else agreed already so it's just you I need an answer from."

"I'm in." Luna said with no hesitation. "Let's roll."

"Good. We leave tonight." Lori said.

The L-Crew stood on top of a building across the shipping yard. "Ok this is it. We can take the Terror Crew out and end their criminal empire." Speed Queen said.

"Ok but where is everyone?" Multiple Girl asked. "There's like nobody here."

"Would've thought there would've been some guards." Ms. Appear added.

"Something isn't right." Black Ice said.

"You worry too much sis." said Parkour.

"Ok let's take them down!" Speed Queen said.

Suddenly several spotlights turn on shining on the eleven heroes. Afterwards they're then suddenly surrounded by four dozen men armed automatic weapons. The L-Crew quickly stand in a circle in fighting stances.

"I don't think these guys work for the Terror Crew." Wildgirl said before going velociraptor.

"What the hell is going on?" Speed Queen demanded. Then a black portal opens up and out steps three figures. Two men and one woman. One man had fair skin with short hair wear black jeans and a leather long sleeve shirt. On his hands he wore a pair of gloves and continuously cracked his knuckles.

The other man was a lot taller and more muscular than the other man. He had fair skin and buzzcut hair style. He wore a black tank top and camouflage cargo pants with combat boots. On his arm he had a chain tattoo that wrapped around his arm and he also had a cybernetic eye.

The woman was a petite woman with pale skin a long purple hair with black eyes. She wore a black full body suit with a cloak that had a hood. On her feet she black leather boots.

The L-Crew looked at the new arrivals in surprise but didn't move. The woman who stood in between the two men looked at each of her companions before they slowly approached the L-Crew.

"Hello L-Crew." The woman greeted. "It's nice to finally meet you."

"Who the hell are you?" Firecracker asked.

"You can call me Mirage. These are my partners. Warfare." Mirage gestured to the tall muscular man. "And Vaccine." She gestured to the other man. "We were sent by our employer to bring you all to a special place."

"We're not coming with you." Parkour glared.

"That's not an option." Mirage replied.

"We'll see about that." Speed Queen said. However she had to admit, she wasn't seeing a lot of ways out. In fact she didn't see any.

"Well are you gonna try something or what?" Warfare taunted.

"Perhaps it'll be best if you surrender." Vaccine told them. "There is no way out."

Speed Queen let's out a growl before turning to Prodigy. "Ok, what are our options?" She asks.

"Not good if I'm being honest." Prodigy answered. "We'd probably be able to take out maybe half the soldiers but that's as far as we would get. Plus those three are an issue. For starters we don't know what abilities the two men have and I doubt that Mirage's only ability is to create portals so there's a factor there."

"So we're screwed?" Speed Queen asked.

"Correct. Our only option to surrender and go with them." Prodigy said.

Speed Queen sighs and turns to Mirage. "We'll come with you." Speed Queen said as she held out her hands for Mirage to handcuff Speed Queen.

"You made the right choice." Mirage said as she handcuffed Speed Queen and then she placed a collar on Speed Queen's neck. "The collar suppresses your powers, cuff the rest of the kids." Mirage commanded the others.

"Yes ma'am." The soldiers said as they cuffed the L-Crew.

"This isn't over." Speed Queen growled.

"Oh kid. Your right." Warfare said. "It's only just beginning."

Smoke: Yes the L-Crew have been captured. We'll explain why in the next chapter. Along with something I had originally had planned for the first few chapters of this story. So you're gonna have to wait like everyone else. Got anything to say Zach?

Zachlor16: Right so as i said a few authors notes back, chapter 100 will be a two parter that starts at chapter 99. Now both these chapters are probably gonna be on the long side so don't rush us and asking us what's taking so long. You can't rush things like this. So Vaccine and Mirage are both characters that were given to us in reviews with some slight changes to fit what we're going for. Warfare is a character that we created and his design is loosely based off of Kano from Mortal Kombat but not necessarily. Only certain aspects. Also Virus is not the character that ZNBT had suggested a while back who was an anti-hero. Virus is a completely different character that was suggested by a different reviewer. So anyways, stay patient and we'll try to get the next chapter out as soon as we can.
