UNABLE TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN FRIENDS AND FOES;

HE WAS RAISING A SNAKE , INTO HIS OWN HOME;

BUT WHEN HE REALIZES , WILL HE BE SAVED OR WILL IT BE TOO LATE ? ? ___]

By the time Ana stopped speaking, she is breathing heavily. Face pale and eyes glistening with unshed tears . Slightly shivering she looked like she ran a marathon . But its only her who knows what she is really feeling like , as if she experienced everything all over again. She closed her eyes for a moment and took deep breaths before opening back her eyes. The incident that she recounted doesn't ends there, rather there are more than that. She hasn't spoken all of it. She raised her eyes at Dave who was also staring at her with a stoic face .She doesn't wants to believe that everything happened on that specific day , was on his command. But there are lots of things that point at his direction. She has seen and experienced how much he adored them(Eve and Hidaya/Ana) but now the question is , all those adoration ,love and care, was it real or fake?

While Ana's mind was running ,Dave's mind wasn't at rest either. Saying that he was shocked would be an understatement. He was more than shocked. Having heard her he knew she wasn't making any false stories , her expressions said everything she experienced . And that meant only one thing , its him who had a faulty wall.

But that day he only called Eve once that is in the morning before she even woke up. After that he was too busy to call her . He remembers he was out of the country to attend a seminar and some meetings . He somehow wanted to complete everything before noon and reach home by evening so that he could celebrate her birthday with her, so he didn't had the time to call anyone . He could only reach here by evening . so how did he called her and told about the traffic?

'it was not me , then who was it?'

He clenched his fist as he thought .And secondly all these years , his own trusted men were fooling him. Suddenly he registered something ,Ana said Antonio was shot and Reccardo was dismembered . That means both of them are dead . But his men said more specifically Liam said its those two who were traitors and killed Aaron and Salem. But in reality its opposite . That's why his search has been fruitless ,he had been looking for dead people. His search for Eve has been mislead since the beginning. Dave's eyes became dark thinking all this.

He suddenly stood up and left the room . It was already silent and no one spoke but his sudden departure increased the tension in the room.

Jake and Noah shared a glance. They understood something . Dave has been betrayed by his own people. They were shocked and angry too after learning everything and also understood Ana was speaking truth but they knew Dave enough to tell that he wasn't in the wrong either . But the question in there mind was who and why ?

Noah stood up and followed after Dave . By the time he caught up to Dave , he was already out of the building. He saw him stopping by the pillars of main gates. Dave was raging,his eyes were dark and breathing heavily. He tried to calm himself by taking long deep breaths in and out but right now it was not so useful. He raised his fist and letting out a growl hit hard at the nearest pillar to vent his anger.

" Hey ! hey ! hey! my pillars didn't do u wrong." Noah said in a joking manner. he wanted to calm Dave to so he tried to distract him. "Dave you-" He was about to say some joke again but he was interrupted.

"It wasn't me." Dave spoke while taking deep breath.

Noah instantly understood what he was talking . Dave was clarifying . he was denying the crime what Ana accused him of. And that clarification wasn't exactly for Noah. It was more for Ana and less for everyone else. Noah's joking expression changed , it became more somber and serious. He sighed as he said,

"I know Dave , I understand." and he really understood . He understood how his friend was feeling. His friend who showed as less expressions as possible, hated betrayals and loved most was his sister but his own people went for his most beloved sister's life. How can he take that lying down . Those shitheads forgot he loved his sister more than them. Thinking Noah sneered in his mind.

After a second of silence Noah spoke again , "Ana might have not told everything."

" I know ,I felt that too.But she went through all that and after speaking about it now,it must be like reliving those moment again. I dont want her to stress her mind too much. yeah i might get some more clues but i can get it any time she'll be here only. and secondly i need time to process everything too" Dave answered as he returning into being the calm person and continued,

"Tell her its not over yet. I might come again." he took a pause and then said. " also i am sorry " Dave was really sorry for accusing Ana . He himself wanted to say but he was ashamed to meet her eyes too.

With that he started walking towards where his car was parked. His talk for the day was over .He knew many things were still left but he has lot to think about . His years long search has to pause and a new secret investigation has to start.

" what are you going to do now Dave?" Noah asked while he followed him to the car park too. As they neared the car Dave slowed down his pace and turned his head to glance at Noah,

"i dont know. i have to make new plans and start everything from the beginning" He really didn't knew what he was going to do first but he has to do something . He cant let them go just like that, he has to show them who he is. While gritting his teeth he thought.

Giving a nod Noah said:" okay call me if u need any help"

while nodding Dave got into his car and sped off.

Jake and Ana were the only ones left in the room after Dave left followed by Noah.
