[ANDRE's family having move to London, he's obliged to visit them at the new family house there.]

JUAREZ: Welcome, Atta boy.[ ANDRE'S dad , JUAREZ was the older image of ANDRE and being one of the big three, the council responsible for creating laws and rules for vampires all around the world. With this status he's also the CEO of one of the big banks in London, Paris and other cities across the globe. He's respected by both the vampires and humans.]

ANDRE: Just happened to be in the area and decided to drop by and say, hi.

JUAREZ: How thoughtful of you. Let me get your mama and sister for you. [He retraced to a room at his left and few minutes later came back with his mum and sister.]

GRETA: [Hugging him] ANDRE I've 'really missed you. [His mum despite her being more than ten centuries old, she still had a beautiful white skin and didn't have any wrinkles; an ability peculiar to only vampires. Having the ability to prevent aging, they could remain looking like sixteen year olds for more than two centuries.]

ANDRE: Me too. [Returning the hug]

ANNE-MARIE: Hey, oaf how is the campus situation at your college?

ANDRE: Who're you calling oaf? [Baring his fangs, ready to attack her. She also responded by baring her fangs too but their dad knocked them down with a single attack.]

JUAREZ: Can't you guys at least have some manners, if you wanna spar go outside n' do that while also revealing to people you're vampires. Don't you guys understand when I say no drawing any attention to yourselves?

ANNE-MARIE: He started so he needs to apologize.

ANDRE: I wouldn't if you hadn't called me by that blasted name.

GRETA: Would you quit you two , you two haven't seen each other in like two months n' that's how you welcome yourselves?

ANDRE: I really have to get going mum if you'll excuse me.

GRETA: Come for dinner tonight so we can sit and eat once again like a family.

ANDRE: I will but on one condition.

ANDRE: I will bring along my girlfriend which I know you'll be eager to meet her.

ANNE-MARIE: You have a girlfriend, are you for real?

JUAREZ: Your breathing blood bank or your girlfriend?

ANDRE: Guys my girlfriend and could you guys promise no vampire talk or anything relating to vampires during dinner tonight.

JUAREZ: Promise.

ANNE-MARIE: Same here.

GRETA: We all promise.

ANDRE: If it's settled then I take my leave now. [He left before anyone could stop him from leaving so soon. Hoping he wouldn't have to regret introducing MARIA to his family.]

[He made it to campus before lectures began. Little did he know he was being followed from his family house back to the college?]

ANDRE: [He just entered MARIA'S room after closing from lectures.] Hi, love how you faring?

MARIA: Good I guess if only it ain't my mind playing tricks on MOI.

ANDRE: Well I have some good news.

MARIA: [Puzzled] what good news?

ANDRE: [He walked to her, pulled her closer to him and kissed her.] My parents are in town and would like us to have dinner with them tonight at their place.

MARIA: [Exclaims] Tonight!

ANDRE: Why any problem?

MARIA: Yes, I wouldn't have any dinner clothes to wear since all the shops have all closed due to the recent killings.

ANDRE : How 'bout this.[ He unboxed the package he brought and revealed a red glittering dinner clothing with a red hair pin to accompany the red clothing with the matching red platforms.

MARIA: [Trying on the apparel and pleased with the results.] Wow it fits me perfectly but how did you know my body and foot size?

ANDRE: That's a secret and my trade mark.

[After they had both dressed in their respective apparels, they took a cab to the Martinez's new residence. They were welcomed into the house by his mum, GRETA.]

JUAREZ: [Kissing MARIA'S hand] Welcome to my humble home, mademoiselle ….

MARIA: Maria.

JUAREZ: Without wasting much time let's have our dinner. [At his command, they all began to eat their boneless steak with veggie meal. After twenty minutes had elapsed and they were all done GRETA and ANNE-MARIE decided to engage MARIA in a conversation while JUAREZ and ANDRE excused themselves to the balcony to have a chat.]

ANNE-MARIE: So Maria which country you from?

MARIA: Ghana.

GRETA: I see so what brings you to London?

MARIA: Practically speaking, I've been living in London as long as I can recall.

[At the balcony, father and son seemed to be engrossed in a conversation.]

JUAREZ: Son my reason for being in London in the first place is that, there's news of one of those 'escrocs' roaming the streets and alleys of London. My sources claim it's responsible for the recent killings happening in London. You do know what 'escrocs' are?

ANDRE: Yh, special vampires with the rare gene responsible for allowing them to change the appearance of themselves to any organism that exist.

JUAREZ: You're right those exiled vampires are so sly and trickish that's why I want you to stay alert since they take on the shape of anyone, even looking like me.

ANDRE: Will be on the lookout for them but if I may ask how you can distinguish them from other vampires and humans?

JUAREZ: I can't answer that 'cos I myself don't know the answer either. Promise not to inform your mum and sister what I just told you. Don't want to frighten them.

ANDRE: Wouldn't think of doing it. [Glancing at his watch, it read 10:30 pm.] I really think we ought to be going since we have lectures tomorrow.

JUAREZ: No problem but remember what I told you 'bout being on the lookout. I've noticed how you like that black girl; it would hurt to lose her. If you love then you have to protect her. [They retreated back to the hall where the ladies still seemed to be having a discussion.]

ANDRE: We need to go but thanks for dinner.

GRETA: I see but don't forget to drop by whenever you're feeling for some home meal.

MARIA: Mr. and Mrs. Martinez thanks for tonight.

ANNE-MARIE: Maria make sure to give me a ring once you reach your college's campus.

MARIA: Will do so.

[They said their goodbyes and left the residence. a few seconds after they had left, a car also followed but at a safer distance. An incoming car's headlights shone on the windscreen of the car following ANDRE and MARIA allowing for a split second, a view of the occupant who turns out to be POLICE CONSTABLE 2.]

ELIZABETH: [sighs] MARIA where have you been the whole of today?

MARIA: Well I had been with ANDRE'S family having dinner; btw it wasn't the whole day but just a couple of hours.

ELIZABETH: I was worried something had happened to you since you weren't returning any of my calls. My brain had been giving me gory images of you in harm's way.

MARIA: [smiling] there's nothing to worry about since I'm here without any injuries.
