Chapter :-28 The Army (Part-1)

Inside the [Study] stood ,two people. One had silver armor covering his body along with a sword hanging from his waist, he had black hair and pale yellow eyes, resembling a tiger's.

While the other one was clearly much older in comparison, he had oval-structured face and long brown beard. The head was partially bald with the leftover grass on the edges, leaving a pit in the center.

He was wearing Brown robe and bear skin sweater, obviously the winter was affecting him. His eyes were sharp and deep as he held a document concerning the trades in his hands.

"Your Highness ,this faithful servant of your have immediately came after hearing your summon." said the scholar-like man with a smile.

"My prince ,your chief knight is at your command.....!!!!!" stated the armored soldier ,a strong and wild aura emitted from his body worthy of being the head of security in the castle.

Roland calmly watched the two and nodded as a sign of acknowledgement for their greeting. He was wearing purple robe and black vast which didn't hide the perfectly muscled yet lean body beneath the cover of the robe.

Not many knew that ,the worthless prince actually had a body physique no less good than Kite's. The previous soul had actually trained his body due to the constant pressure from Kite, the original one.

"Sir Carter....,did you summon the person who had fought against a [Demon] before and survived as I asked you to do???" questioned Roland, knowing more about the challenges he will be facing in the future would help him to improvise Kite's plan if needed.

"Yes your Highness, he is waiting outside the door. But I still don't understand that why did you summon him, he is a hunter not a warrior." asked Carter in a confused manner.

"That's because I asked him to do so....." a voice ,cold and indifferent ,like a melody attracted their attention. Knowing full well that before they came in the room ,only Roland was sitting there but now another person had just appeared in the [Study] from nowhere.

The voice was clear and resounded strangely loud in their ears, normally Carter would have attacked the source of sound by now but the tone was awfully familiar to them.

Both Barov and Carter got on one knee just like they did before greeting Roland and said in a faithful tone "Greetings Kite-sama.....!!!!" due to Kite before an adopted son, he didn't had a prince title so they politely addressed him by his name.

Kite nodded before sitting down on the sofa, he was wearing his usual white cloak and hood ,his sword hanging loosely from his waist.

"I wanted to gather more information about the types of [Demons] we may face in the [Months of Demons], the current strength of the city is close to Null, due to the wall we have an advantage."

"We must train more people as soldiers to protect the town and also so that the loose rules could be fixed. Only by increase the offensive capability of the people can we survive with zero causality."

"Azik is busy while acting as the [Gatekeeper] of the graveyard and can't teach them but you can ,with that persons experience and your training we can most probably create an [Anti-demon] squad." patiently explained Kite while the doubts on Carter's face blew away like lofty clouds.

Knock.....the knob twisted open as a large man entered the room, he wore [Hunter's garb] ,two battle-axe on his back along with a bow ,arrows on his waist. His face had a scar on his leg cheek ,black hair and black eyes.

The presence was equivalent to that of a savage, he bowed his head towards Roland and placed his left hand on his chest as a sign of respect.

"Greetings Your Highness...." he said in an hoarse tone and a serious expression.

Kite observed the man standing in front of him, 6`7 feet tall gaint with a muscular body. His eyes glowed under the covers of his hood with Blueish color as his [Reader] along with [Spectator] kicked in.

Tall man, viligant of his surroundings, slightly nervous since he is sweating a bit, nervous he is since his muscles of face are tight. He must be thinking about why Roland had summoned him here. The [Spectator] was able to tell ,the emotions he was feeling.

Dark toned skin, a little tanned, very tall when compared to a typical individual of [Castle of graycastle]. Even on the whole continent ,their shouldn't be people like him. Conclusion ,he must be from some other country.

"Iron Axe, do you want to stay in the [Border town].....????" asked Roland in a very straightforward manner.

This question stunned Iron Axe who bitterly smiled a little before saying that "No matter what, neither I can nor I will leave this town."

"What about demons????"

"I will kill as many as I can before i run out of options and die....." Iron Axe replied with determination.

"Will you protect the town if given a chance????"

"Yes your highness!!!!.....I own a lot to this town and it's people ,they excepted me for me not because of my origin, even life isn't that precious." he replied with conviction.

"Very well ,I will give you a chance to kill them, are you willing to protect the town with your life.....?????" asked Roland.

"Thank you Your highness, I wouldn't let you down..."
