*What should I say now?!* he thought.

*I didn't have any background in this world! I'm completely an alien! Maybe I can just say I'm not from this world...* he thought as he take a peek at the old man that's been staring at him waiting for a response.

*Think! Think! You have passed exam above average so you can do it! Oh... why not use my player name in the game I used to play when I'm young? That will be effective enough* he thought.

"Uhm.... Meyl-"he said and a silence broke out. *Oh my god! My tongue slip up! What an embarrassing thing to do!* he thought.

"Don't be nervous kid. Calm down" the old man says as he look at the worried face of the kid.

"My name is Kea..." he finally replied to the old man. The old man seems to be waiting for more answer.

"Kid you don't have a last name?" the old man ask him again.

"Uh... I don't" Kea replied then the old man exist "So you are not from a noble family huh? That makes sense because what kind of a parent throw it's child in one of the deadliest forest on this continent".

The old man look at the window. "Unless their situation is like the war survivors" the old man said with a low tone.

"War survivors?" Kea ask but the old man didn't even bother to answer him. It's like the old man doesn't even want to talk for it at all.

"Anyway you got bitten" the old man started another conversation trying to avoid the last question kea ask.

"I got bitten?" Kea replied. *Well no wonder that something bit me off when I'm sleeping in the forest. But what kind of creature bite me that have such a strong poison?* he thought.

"Well... you kid just got bitten by the demon snake. What the most people called it is the snake of death" the old man replied to kea.

"A demon snake? The snake of death?" Kea get more curious about it. *If I got bitten by those shouldn't I be dead by now? Maybe this world had an antidote on it already* he thought.

"HAHAHA" the old man laugh "You kid! You are really lucky huh... you know even noble doesn't have a cure for the bite of that snake? HAHAHA" the old man said as he laugh.

*What?! then how I am alive?* he thought.

"Then how am I still alive?" Kea ask and the old man answer "It's simple I have a cure to it but that cure is more than rare. It's more like a legendary cure that's been filled with rumours".

"Huh? A legendary cure?!" Kea is so surprised by how the old man just use something so valuable on him.

"Why did you do that? It's so valuable? You even said than even nobles... so why on a stranger like me?" Kea ask.

"I'm old ok, and I have two cure in my storage so don't worry. That is a gift from an old friend of mine" the old man try to calm down kea who is clearly in state of shock and panicked.

"HAHAHA! don't even think I give it to you for free! That cure is so valuable even an emperor will bow down to it! So get ready for your upcoming lessons!" the old man laugh as he got up and leave the room.
