Chapter 41:The Burnt Band

Adryan still managed to make 7 'jumps' through the shadows before his spirituality warned him that he was taking it too far.

So when the seventh 'jump' finished, the redhead took off this burnt band because the ravings were getting stronger but still couldn't reach the level of the office ones.

Thanks to the 'jumps' the redhead managed to reach the limits of East Borough.

The redhead was trembling, he was quite pale, covered in ash and blood as well as a strong cough.

He still had his mask on along with his jacket so the punishers wouldn't be able to recognize him.

He couldn't walk the streets of Backlund looking like he'd just gotten out of a war.

So he had no choice but to move between the alleys and roofs to avoid being seen.

After moving like this for a long time, Adryan managed to reach his house.

As soon as he entered, the redhead collapsed on the floor due to his injuries and lack of spirituality, but he still wasn't safe enough.

So while grunting in pain he went to the shower and took a bath with cold water, cleaning the blood, alcohol, and ash that covered him, then he went to his room and began to use his first-aid kit to treat his injuries.

After bandaging and stitching his chest, the redhead grabbed a silver container and placed the burnt band on it, and then sealed it with a wall of spirituality.

After that, the redhead finally fell asleep on his bed and slept without having the energy to see himself in the mirror.

The next day, Adryan woke up at 9:00 am, an hour before his class with Isengar.

When the redhead got up he saw the silver container, undoing the wall of spirituality the redhead saw the burned band...

It was a thick black band that due to the flames had a burnt appearance, from Adryan's experience this band allowed him to connect with the shadows and if he applied more spirituality he was able to move between them a decent distance of up to a maximum of 15 meters per 'jump'.

This ability Adrian decided to name it 'Shadow Leap', and the negative effect would be that while you have it on you will hear the ravings of the True Creator, and the longer you wear it the stronger it will become.

Adryan calculates that with his current strength, he could only wear it for a maximum of 5 minutes.
